Story
HANNAH the free spirit! Hannah's joyful spirit shines through.... even found with puppies, she maintained an upbeat demeanor. In the shelter, she literally dances in anticipation when people approach, foot tapping and twirling as if in a ballroom. Her "Dancing with Myself" video reveals a playful girl who won't let confinement dampen her mood. Her eyes sparkle with enthusiasm and upon meeting happy boy Bash, Hannah may have found the Astaire to her Rogers. They quickly struck up a friendship filled with frolicking and head-bopping hijinks, as if forever dance partners. Hannah's charm touches everyone around her, humans and canines alike. Even in less than ideal conditions, she chooses JOY. So much to say about her: * 4-1/2 yr old, female, Cattle Dog mix, 45 lbs * Black w/adorable speckles and those cattle dog ears * Charming personality with dogs and humans * Loves taking long walks and enjoys long talks If you love dogs..... and dogs who love people...... stop by and meet our beautiful dancer, Hannah!

Story
Smarty is a soft, fluffy, 8 year-old Thai basenji mix. She is a stray that we rescued in Thailand in 2016. True to her name, she is a very aware and intelligent dog and is highly trainable. She loves running and playing, but her real passion is swimming. She is about 40lbs and is leash, muzzle and crate trained. She's fully house broken and can be left alone without being destructive. She's a great hiking companion and does not try to run away. We have a 1 year-old daughter who is just starting to walk, and sometimes Smarty has growled at her through the gate. Smarty is not an aggressive dog, but she can be territorial about food and toys and we just can't risk a bad interaction. Smarty is not aggressive toward other dogs, but she can be aversive toward some dogs. Although she can also be very playful. We recommend she be in a home without children or other pets. She loves to be in the same room as us, and will come up and ask for pets on occasion, but isn't overly needy.

Story
We need to rehome my beloved Chewie. A heartbreaking decision. We have a newborn and Chewie does best in a child-free home. Chewie is an Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepard & Golden Retriever, 6 years old, and 55 pounds. He is housetrained, chipped, and fixed. He can sit, lay down, place, stay and heal. He is sweet, independent, loyal, playful, smart and beautiful. He has been boarded, has been to doggie daycare, and is friendly with other dogs (but leash-reactive). He is friendly with a cat (but most likely would need to be re-trained to accept a new cat in his life). We adopted Chewie when he was 2 - found abandoned on the side of a road in a crate. He is fearful and reserved initially and needs a little time to warm up to new people and situations. He gets anxious in loud and crowded places. Does best in calmer environments. He is leash-reactive, has received training and has improved a lot. Looking for a patient loving soul. He will love you back with immense sweetness.

Story
Artemis is a 3 month old blue heeler puppy whose very loving and playful.. he has been super and loves to cuddle up right next to you for bed. I need to rehome him because I'm a single stay at home mom with an autistic 4 yr old son and my son isn't displaying the nicest behavior towards Artemis and I have to constantly keep him away from the dog which isn't fair to Artemis or my son . My son gets jealous of me and the dog and acts out I'm worried that they may accidentally hurt one another badly so I need to prevent that from happening. Artemis needs a new home ASAP please . I am completely overwhelmed and stressed I would really like Artemis to go to a good home where he can run around free and have fun letting out his wonderful silly puppy energy. He's a great dog...

Story
Tex is a really sweet boy but unfortunately after having a baby we're having trouble accommodating his needs. He is a high energy boy with a will of his own :) The ideal home for him would be: -on a large piece of land where he can roam and run around -no kids -no dogs or maybe another large dog -experienced dog owner -no neighbouring dogs

Story
My girlfriend and I originally found Jackson on the side of the road in April of 2023. At the time, he was estimated to be 6-8 months old. The weather had been awful so we decided to take him in. We were unsure if he was abused by his previous owners or if he was just an incredibly timid dog, but he was fairly scared of people despite loving pets and attention. Since we've had him he has become much more social and is a very happy dog. He can be a very energetic dog that loves running around and playing with people and dogs alike. He is very driven by food and attention. He is a quicker learner and knows how to sit, lay down, spin, dance, shake, and roll over. Unfortunately, with my work and school hours combined, I won't be able to give Jackson the time and attention he needs and deserves. Ideally, he would go to someone who has a nice yard for him, but as long as he gets the love he needs. We can also give away his food, bowls, leashes, and cage for no charge if preferred.

Story
I have had Kimchi since he was 6 weeks (He is now 3). He is a very affectionate dog, he loves to cuddle! He grew up with another dog and had lots of interaction with other dogs growing up, so he plays very well with other dogs. I’m unsure of how he’d be with cats, but I’m sure he’d be just as friendly. I hate to let him go, but with being a first responder I’m not able to give him the stimulation he needs. He is an active dog! He’ll do better in a home with a backyard, or an active owner that can give him the exercise he needs. Preferably someone that works from home might work best. He does have a tendency to get anxious when left alone from long periods of time. So a home that usually has someone present most of the time would be better! I have a set vet plan that would cover for the rest of the year for any vaccinations and check-ups!
