Ripp may not hear the world around him, but he sure knows how to feel it. This strong-spirited yet kind-natured boy is as loving as they come. He’s great with other dogs, enjoys the company of people, and has a heart full of devotion. Being deaf doesn’t slow Rip down one bit—he’s smart, attentive, and has picked up on hand signals like a pro. He walks beautifully on a leash, plays well with others, and loves nothing more than being part of the action. Whether he’s romping around with his friends or leaning in for some affection, Rip’s gentle soul shines through in everything he does. He’s looking for a home that will embrace his unique way of navigating the world and love him for the incredible dog he is.

Story
Are you the type of dog person who loves to win a dog’s trust over? Than Jameson is your guy! He was dumped in a crate on our door step in the middle of the night along with his brother, 2 sisters & mom…everyone has found their forever home & this sweet, loving boy is still waiting. Despite his rough start, once Jameson knows you, he loves you. He’s realized walks are fun, tummy rubs are amazing & cats are scary so he stays away. He’d do best in a quiet home & having a dog friend would be great but not necessary. He’s not an “instant dog” in that it may take a visit or 2 from you for him to get to know you but if you’re up the challenge, this sweet boy will be well worth it!

Story
Meet Leia! Leia is a 40-pound bundle of sweetness just waiting to steal your heart! Lovable and affectionate, she absolutely adores hugs, kisses, and being close to her people. Whether you're hanging out on the couch or out in the yard, Leia just wants to be part of the family. She’s a quick learner, already potty and kennel trained, and she loves a good play session to burn off some energy! While she may be a little shy at first, once she warms up, she’s a fantastic playmate for other dogs and does well with older kids too. Leia prefers to eat her meals solo, but once she’s finished, she’s all about jumping back into the fun! She’s got the perfect mix of cuddly and playful, and she’s ready to find a family to call her own. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and fun companion, Leia might just be your perfect match! To apply directly for Leia click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-611 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
I adopted Max as a puppy. He's been my true friend his entire life; he's ten years old - it breaks my heart to rehome him....its just getting too difficult as we start a family (with 2 babies, and we travel a lot). Its not fair to him. He is the most friendly dog ever, still has a ton of energy - wants to play and walk and LOVES attention constantly. He currently lives with a cat, they get along great. He's hit or miss with other dogs - I keep him away from stranger dogs, but he used to live with another dog. Once they get used to each other, he's fine. His only issue is separation anxiety - he doesn't like to be alone. He doesn't chew - just gets anxious and claws at stuff if he's in an environment/home he's not used to. I have to find him a perfect home to make sure he's safe and happy in the last chapter of his life - I'll do anything to ensure that happens!
