Flynn is a happy, loving pup with an outgoing personality and a heart full of joy. He’s always ready to greet the world with a wagging tail and a big smile, and he absolutely loves spending time with his people. Whether it’s going for walks—where he does wonderfully on leash—or simply soaking up some affection, Flynn is all about connection. He’s done well with other socialized dogs and enjoys making new canine friends, though he sometimes prefers a slower, more thoughtful introduction to start things off right. Story
We are looking for a loving, experienced home for our sweet girl, Stella Bella. With a baby on the way we will no longer be able to provide the level of care she deserves to thrive. About Stella: - 5 years old, 24 lbs - Miniature Australian Shepherd - Up to date on vaccines - Stella is a cuddle bug and the definition of a Velcro dog. Totally content to spend the day lazily in bed, but also LOVES playing fetch with her ball. - Highly intelligent, very food-motivated, and eager to please. - She has so much personality—funny, spunky, and full of joy and attitude. What to know: - Fence reactive & anxious: our next door neighbor’s dog bit her through the bottom of the fence and since then, she has developed fence reactivity if there are other dogs. She fixates, barks, and runs the fence line. We also give her a trazadone as needed to help manage anxiety (not daily, just as needed) - would do best as the only dog in the home. Cats are fine. Experience with herding breeds a plus.

Story
I got Bandit from my dads old boss and she had told me that he had gone through training and that his only problem was his barking. That was around 8 months ago and he definitely has more problems than just that. He is super sweet and if he loves you, he loves you ten fold. My main issue with him is that he is very protective/ territorial over me. I can’t have people over to my house if he is inside because of this. He loves to play and swim in the lake and he’s great off leash unless something triggers him, and I’ve never had a problem getting him back to me and on the leash if that does happen. I believe he would make a great dog for someone that has experience with reactive dogs and has the time and patience to be able to work on his issues. He truly is the best most sweetest dog I’ve ever had, I just can’t give him what he needs right now. I think he would do great in a house with other dogs, and with someone who understands how his mind works.

Story
Meet Chevy 3 years old. Recently surrendered. And still smiling. Chevy doesn’t understand why her world changed. She doesn’t know why the home she thought was forever… wasn’t. But what she does know? She knows how to wag her tail. She knows how to look at you with hopeful eyes. She knows how to love anyway. Just look at that face — tongue out, ears perked, ready to try again. There’s no bitterness. No shutting down. Just resilience. Chevy has just started her journey in the Paws in Prison program, where she’ll receive structure, training, and something every dog deserves — consistency and belief in her potential. Already, she’s soaking up attention and leaning into the kindness around her. Owner surrender doesn’t define her.Her spirit does. She is sweet. She is steady. She is trying so hard to be brave. And she is absolutely worthy of a forever that sticks. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who has every reason to give up — but hasn’t — Chevy is waiting. Let’s show her that sometimes second chances turn into the best chapters. www.pawsinprisontx.org ##2668165##

Story
Kya is a sweet, playful companion who loves walks and loves to be interactive with people - she's part diva and part funny ham. She's still learning the ropes of being in a busy, very public kennel building- it can be downright scary for new arriving dogs, so if she steps outside for a moment when you're near, don't take offense-ask for help to meet her instead and you'll get to meet the real Kya, plus maybe you've save her the expense of having to endure more time in a shelter. She does her best to keep a neat, tidy kennel while walks come just once or twice daily. She's spayed, vaccinated, and heart worm negative and ready to leave right away. Her advocates at ClassicCaninesATX have adoption support specials too-ask staff about them or reach out to caring@classiccanines.org Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 74 Age: 8yrs 2mths 0wks

Introducing Stella! A sweet, senior girly looking for her forever home. Stella is an expert in commands. She knows: Sit, Down, Come, Place, Free/Break, Shake and Spin! This girl is full of tricks and highly food motivated. Stella is the type of girl to want her people alllll to herself, so a home without other dogs or children is needed for her to thrive. Once she's got her daily walking fix, Stella will lounge around with whoever she feels is the coziest and best cuddler. Can you be the one to live out a life full of love and adventure with Stella?
