Story
Gus is year and a half old blue merle mini aussie. He is a very smart, sweet, playful and loyal boy. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and went through 2 rounds of training with him. He loves getting affection from people and playing with other dogs. He does well traveling and boarding. He can get a little anxious attached to me and want to be in the same room as me. He can get a little excited around kids but mostly wants to lick their face. He needs a home where he can have plenty of activity and attention. He does not get along with cats. I have been too busy to spend the time with him that he needs.

Story
Gwen is a sweet and high energy female but is alpha and, unfortunately, does not get along with my other dog that I've had longer. She is great if she gets daily exercise (at least 20 mins in morning and evening, prefers to chase her ball). I have driven across country with her numerous times and she is great on a road trip. She can be anxious at times, which I've learned is a trait she got from her father. Keeping her exercised and using CBD oil helps keep her calm. I'd like to rehome her only with someone who is familiar with her breed.

Story
Rocky is a 9 month old Miniature Australian Shepherd. He is such a sweet pup. He likes to play fetch, play in water, hang with humans when comfortable, and tummy scratches. He is house trained. He is very bark reactive to new people and animals. And he could use more leash training. He just requires more mental and physical stimulation during the day that I can provide right now. I think he would love to be with someone who is wfh/hybrid and patient in helping him with his social anxiety. He really is so sweet and intelligent.

Story
Meet Annie, an orphan looking for her tomorrow. Annie is a stunning 4-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a silky black coat that shimmers in the sun like the star she truly is. Much like Little Orphan Annie, this girl is searching for her forever family, particularly one that will help her believe the sun will come out tomorrow. Annie can be shy and reserved at first, especially with new people and unfamiliar surroundings. The shelter has been pretty hard on her sensitive heart, but once she feels safe, she leans in, literally, for comfort and reassurance from those she trusts. She is the kind of loyal companion who will be by your side through thick and thin, just waiting on her Daddy (or Mommy) Warbucks to come along. Annie will thrive best as the only pet in the home without young children. Annie may not sing show tunes just yet, but her soulful eyes tell a story all their own. Can you be the one to rewrite Annie`s story with a happy ending? Come see her today!

Story
Meet Ceasar – A Loyal Heart Looking for a Second Chance Ceasar is a striking Australian Shepherd mix with soulful eyes and a heart that’s been through more than most dogs his age. Originally adopted as a young pup, he spent nearly a year with a family he thought would be forever. But through no fault of his own, Ceasar was returned to the shelter when his family could no longer afford to care for him. Now enrolled in the Paws in Prison program in Lockhart, Texas, Ceasar is working hard with his dedicated female inmate trainers who are not only teaching him obedience and life skills—but also gently piecing his broken heart back together. Despite the heartbreak, Ceasar remains a loving, intelligent, and resilient boy who still believes in second chances. His trainers say he’s a fast learner with a sweet soul, and he's already showing signs of becoming a well-mannered, devoted companion. Ceasar deserves a forever home that will stand by him through thick and thin. If you're ready to open your heart to a dog who will give you everything he's got, Ceasar is waiting to meet you. Pre-adopt him today and be the happy ending to his story. visit www.pawsinprisontx.org ##2427666##
