Story
Groot is a sweet boy that needs to either be in a foster or permanent home. His previous family could no longer keep him due to his sudden urge to “guard the yard” when they expected him to herd cattle due to his breed. There’s not much clarity as to the details of what he would do to “guard” his yard- but since then he has been surrendered to a vet clinic where he resides until finding the right place. He has been nothing but amazing- walks well on leash, goes in and out of his kennel nicely for a dog that was living outside, and the best part- he’s potty trained! No accidents noted since he’s been here. There are only a few unknowns about him, like if he does well with other animals or not. Overall he’s a great dog and needs to get out of the clinic asap!

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sadie is very energetic and is very sharp- she is quick to p/u new commands, she has had some initial training and excelled. She loves to run and jump, she does enjoy digging holes, too. There is some issue with the dynamics with the older dog, on both sides - this is the reason we suggest she be a single pet. We do not feel we are doing either dog justice since Sadie should have a lot more activities than we are able to provide, mainly due to our health. We would love for her to get a home that she thrives in and gets to go on adventures. She is a very sweet dog and we are sad but this is what would be best for both of these fur- babies

Story
Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Mousey loves to play, chase a ball and also fun to cuddle. Please get in touch and meet our precious Mousey who wants a family to call her own.May 6, 2024, 7:53 am

Super dog friendly and gets along with all the other dogs at Dogtown. Please give us a call today to arrange a meeting with our precious Little Lucy.May 6, 2024, 7:53 am
