Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Little Lucy was saved being given away in front of a store to just anyone. Luckily our good friend and fellow rescuer at Dogtown Ranch scooped up Little Lucy. All of her littermates died, but thanks to Dogtown, Lucy has survived. She is super gentle and a very calm dog for a little puppy. This is Rylo. He’s turning 2 years old November 1st, 2026. He’s house trained and has lots of great qualities. He is mixed with blue heeler, therefore has very high energy. He loves having direction, especially in fun games like fetch. His ideal home has a yard to run and get his energy out along with some fun toys and bones to keep him occupied. Due to changing schedules and moving situations, we have hopes someone will be able to help meet his needs and give him the space and attention he deserves. He’s also great at staying alert, and has great recall but he is not a barker. Rylo also enjoys being pet and getting belly rubs, he would be a great addition to anyone who has the energy he does or who has an active lifestyle.

Meet Coco 🐾Coco’s story started when a friend found a litter of puppies that had been abandoned and left on the side of the road. I couldn’t stand the thought of one of them not having a chance, so I brought Coco home to give her a safe, loving life.When I adopted her, my schedule allowed me to spend lots of time with her. Unfortunately, over time, life changed and I had to take on more than one job. My work schedule has become so busy that I can no longer give Coco the time, attention, exercise, and play she deserves.This has been an incredibly difficult decision because Coco deserves a family that can truly be there for her every day. She is a sweet girl who has so much love to give, and I know she will thrive in a home where she has plenty of time for walks, playtime, and affection.

My father recently passed away and Duke was his dog. We live out of state, do not have a fenced yard and we already have an indoor dog and cat. Duke truly is a fantastic dog. He is super friendly, smart, loving and always happy. He loves to play with balls and in the water. He is potty trained and will come lay at your feet. He does well on a leash. You can hug Duke and he doesn’t care if you are in his face, he will gently eat out of your hand. When you brush him there are no areas that are off limits, where he will snap at you. He is truly a happy go lucky dog. My dad had cancer so Duke hasn’t had the attention he deserves in the last 6 months. If you are remotely interested, just come and meet him and you will see everything I have said is true. He is not a barker unless something is in the yard that doesn’t belong. I will be willing to pay half the bill if you get him neutered.
