You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . Dagwood is a sweet lovable little pup that just wants to be loved by his people. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to spend the day jump romping and playing with his brother & sister Blondie and Baby Dumpling.  Blondie is a mix but we don't know what he is mixed with as is the case with many of our rescued puppies. We do think he has some Aussie cattle dog/border collie mix due his coloring. To adopt Dagwood when he is ready, please fill out an application @ www.ffosk9resq.org.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   March 10, 2025, 9:59 pm

Story
Dex is a handsome floof with a world-class head tilt and spectacular smile! He loves his outdoor romps and likes to chase toys. Bring them back? Not so much - but he's learning. Dex likes to have a person around more often then not, making him a perfect work-from-home friend. He prefers his dog friends be of the 'hanging out together' variety, not the 'in your face' variety.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Feb 2021 ~  Intake weight:  38#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **March 12, 2025, 2:02 pm

Story
Panda is a 4 ½ month old mix of Aussie Shepherd and Heeler. She presently weighs 20 pounds and will mature to between 40 and 45 pounds. A tripod missing her left front leg has not kept this girl back at all. Tripods lose only their leg, not their love of life or their love of play. Panda loves to play, is very friendly, and quite affectionate, too. She does fairly well with cats who don't realize that all she wants to do is play! Great with other dogs, too! Such a sweetie!
