Did you know that #deafdogsrock !?! Well here is your chance to have the sweetest, most goofy deaf dog ever. Oscar is between 2-3 yrs old (estimated), a red merle aussie, loves to play with other dogs (and toys) and hasn't been around cats or kids so we just don't know how that would work - possibly great but remember, he's deaf. He is also heartworm positive but his treatment has started. Because of that, he must go to a local adopter (Huntsville, AL area) so we / FOR can ensure his treatment is completed (and we will cover that cost). Oscar needs a home with a securely fenced yard and he does chase horses so if you have horses you need to know that he cannot run free while you are riding or at the barn. Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is only about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is completely healed from that. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. Australian Shepherd mixes, they are between 4 and 5 months old, presently weigh between 15 and 18 pounds, and should grow to about 20 to 25 pounds. This is a litter of cutie pies with their handsome coats and big eyes, they'll charm you into love with them. They're good with other dogs, kids and their foster's cat, too! Delightful! (posted 9/13/25, TN) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records.
