Story
Oran is a striking 12-week-old Australian Shepherd/Anatolian Shepherd mix with a look that turns heads wherever he goes. He sports an adorable white blaze down his face, perfectly dipped “sock” paws, and a stunning mismatched gaze—one bright blue eye and one warm brown. His coat is beautifully marked with brindle patches along his back, making him truly one of a kind. Weighing in at 22 pounds already, Oran is going to grow into a big, handsome boy. While he has a playful, energetic side, he’s a bit more laid-back than his siblings and carries himself with a calm confidence. He’s very smart and eager to learn, currently working on crate training and housebreaking. Oran gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a great fit for a variety of homes. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and is on prevention—ready to start his next adventure with his forever family. Adoption fee: $350May 12, 2026, 10:38 pm

Not good with cats,
Story
Don't be fooled by my good looks!!! I am a female red merle mini with blue eyes and I live up to the sterotype. I pack a lot of punch in my 23 lbs and need an experienced owner. However, as the ONLY pet (no dogs, no cats) and no children, I will be your sweet, playful, loyal and fun companion. I know I will take a special home but I also know there is one out there just for me. If you think you can pass the tests (and there will be a lot of those) then please apply for me at forrescue.net Until then, I will be doing my cute spins and sits, getting belly rubs, and barking at all the other dogs (that I'm separated from) at my foster home. Thank you for considering me. Note: I am fostered in Huntsville, Alabama and am NOT available for transport so anyone interested in making their life more exciting with me in it must come to Huntsville to meet me.

Story
Meet Sherry - a smart, spirited red tri Australian Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger love for play! At around 3 years old, Sherry is in her prime. She knows how to sit and shake, walks well on and off leash, and is always ready for her next adventure. Whether it's a game of fetch, a round of tug-of-war, or a ride in the car, Sherry is happiest when she is on the move and having fun. Sherry is a confident girl who likes to be in charge, so she's looking for a home where she can be the boss. She will do best as tghe dominant dog in the household and pairs better with dogs her size or larger who respect her space and leadership style. She's curious about cats but has shown that she can coexist peacefully without bothering them. True to her breed, she loves to observe the world around her - farm animals like goats, chickens, and pigs are endlessly fascinating to her and she could spend hours watching them. After a day of activity she enjoys some cuddle time, though she prefers affection on her own terms rather than constant attention. Sherry is heartworm positive but is on the path to recovery. She has begun her treatment but needs a local adopter so our FOR vet can see her through it. If you are looking for a loyal, playful and independent companion with a strong personality and love for life, Sherry just may be your perfect match. Sherry is spayed, chipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her heartworm treatment will continue with a FOR vet post adoption with the oversight of a committed local adopter. If you are interested please fill out an application at our website forrescue.net

Story
Hi, I'm Chance!! I am a seven (ish) year old standard red tri male Aussie. I do well with other dogs (when introduced properly), children (I love to give kisses), and pretty much anything. I have not been around cats but I think I would like to meet one and be friends. I had a rough outdoor life and sadly have heartworms but thankfully FOR is already treating me for that and they use the method that doesn't have to limit my activity as much so I'm up for playing and going for any walks you want to take. I do have to stay local to Huntsville to complete the treatment so I must be adopted by a local Huntsville, AL area family. If you are itnerested in meeting me please fill out an application at forrescue.net

Story
Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is healed from that but needs 24/7 dog door access - he is doggie door trained. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and we have determined because of his need for 24/7 dog door access he should be adopted locally in case an adopter cannot manage his condition and he must return to the rescue. We only want what is best for this amazingly sweet boy!
