Meet Kash💙, the epitome of canine kindness, a 3-year-old Australian shepherd with a heart of gold💛 ! His temperament is truly inspiring, showcasing a unique blend of sweetness, kindness, shyness, docility, and submissiveness that makes him an exceptional addition to any pack😍. Kash's captivating blue eyes will undoubtedly melt your heart, and his resilience in the face of adversity is a testament to his remarkable spirit. Having overcome a severe flea infestation and subsequent skin condition with the help of medication, Kash is now ready to thrive in a loving environment. This incredible boy is in search of a foster or adopter to provide him with the love and care he so rightly deserves. With his neutering, chipping, and vaccination already taken care of, the only thing missing is a loving home 🏡 to call his own - will you be the one to open your heart and home to precious Kash?😻 Currently being cared in Southern California, Kash can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving family awaits to welcome him.

Story
Rocky is a handsome Australian Shepherd with a tender heart and a story of resilience. Having come from an abusive past, Rocky needs time, patience, and understanding to build trustâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but once that bond forms, it is incredibly rewarding. He has been thriving in his foster home for the past two and a half months, where consistent care has helped him come out of his shell. While he may be timid when meeting new people, Rocky is a true sweetheart who blossoms with a calm, gentle approach and will need a slow, relationship-focused adoption process. In his foster home, Rockyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s wonderful personality shines. He is intelligent, loyal, cuddly, playful, and deeply devoted to the people he trusts. Rocky is highly treat and affection motivated and is already learning commands like sit and (lay) down. He is crate trained and mostly house trained, does well on road trips, and continues to make steady progress with walking nicely on a leash. Rocky enjoys engaging with his people and takes pride in pleasing them, making him a great companion for someone who appreciates a smart dog eager to learn and connect.Rocky does well with his female foster dog friend, happily sharing toys and space without any signs of aggression, though his comfort with male dogs is unknown. He would not be a good fit for a home with cats, as he tends to chase them. True to his herding instincts, Rocky enjoys keeping watch over his home, alerting to visitors with a strong bark and shooing wildlife off of the property without aggression. He has done well meeting visitors and often relaxes enough to accept pets or share the couch, with time. Rocky prefers the company of teens or adults, has limited experience with young children, and would thrive in a home with a securely contained large yard or property where he can safely explore and feel at ease. If you are interested in committing to the gradual adoption process Rocky requires, his foster family is available to facilitate the multiple in-home meetings he may need. Rocky will need time to become comfortable, build trust, and form a connection through several visits. If this is something you are willing and able to pursue, please contact El Dorado County Animal Services (530) 621-5795January 14, 2026, 6:19 pm
