Super sweet boy. Loves everyone. He is high energy and needs attention. I just don't have the time to get him out as much as he needs and now I'm moving. He's great with kids of all ages and would be an awesome family dog or great on a farm. He needs to run and work.

(((READ ALL INFO BEFORE INQUIRING PLEASE))))) Steps needed to adopt Step 1) complete the application, the link is below https://form.jotform.com/81702264428152 Step 2) Thoroughly read any info about the dog. Review the rescues adoption procedures and process. Thoroughly research the breed. Please do not submit multiple emails or applications. We will contact you if we feel your home is a good fit. ALL dogs and cats in the rescue must be spayed/neutered in the rescue. Because puppies may be to young to undergo surgery, they are placed on our spay and neuter schedule. If they are adopted prior to their surgery date, the adopter must agree to either bring the dog back for their spay/neuter, or complete the alter at their own vet with a special contract in place and proof of the alter within a timeframe. If submitting an application for a puppy under 4 months, they might not yet be altered and are on the schedule. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >>>>>>About the Dog

Story
Meet Nellie! Nellie was originally rescued March 2020 from the Porterville Shelter with her 9 puppies. She was the most amazing mother to her little ones! Nellie was adopted in Spring of 2020 but now in need of a new home: She is great with kids and babies; she lives with cats so may do well with well-matched cats given proper intros, early seperation and management. Nellie LOVES water, swimming and playing fetch Nellie is housetrained She would love a home with a big backyard and a flexible or WFH schedule While she lives with a dog currently, she got in a scuffle with their dog a few times in 2.5 years and they feel she cannot safely be in the home w/ their dog anymore. While Nellie is normally good with dogs we would recommend a dog free home! Ability to muzzle train would be recommended for the future. She is not reactive to dogs, but muzzle training is a great tool to provide peace of mind. With new people she is timid but she is gentle and bonds strongly with her people. 50 lbs, 4-5 years old spayed and vaccinated LOOKING FOR FOSTER FOSTER TO ADOPT OR DIRECT ADOPTION Interested in adopting? 1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application 2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call! 3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time. Follow facebook.com/heartsforpawsrescue & Instagram @heartsforpawsrescue for more! Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
My pet's name is Myla, she is a purebred Blue Merle Australian Shepard, and she is almost 4 years of age. She is the sweetest thing, and she will treat you, your family, and friends with the same amount of love, attention, and care as you give her, if not more. One of the biggest things that I adore about her is the fact that she will literally come up to your bed when you tell her to, and cuddle with you for hours without end. Another thing she loves is head scratches, and she puts on her most derpy-est happy face when you do so (she often has her tongue out of the side when you're petting her). As with any Aussie, she is very intelligent and very active, so preferably, she is in the best care with someone who can provide her with adequate mental and physical stimulation. She is a great in-door dog, and she doesn't often mess with any house hold items, furniture, etc., except for things like food packages (which doesn't happen very often) and her soft toys usually.
