Story

Macky is a fun sweet guy that our family fell in love with quickly. He's playful for hours and will be a constant buddy. He is easy to train and loves as much attention as he can get. He is well behaved indoors, no big problems. Good behavior in the dog yard although he'd rather be with his people. He's good at relaxing indoor especially if you put him on a line. We love so much about him! Macky has high energy and is always up for a good time. He keeps his ball with him and is devoted to it. He walks great on a leash but doesn't have much experience being away from home or at the dog park. He is silly and so easy to love and enjoy. He loves his family and loves kids. We are so sad that we need to find him a new family.

Juni will need to be picked up in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where she is currently in foster care. Hi, I'm Juni (short for Juniper)! I'm a young, 1-year-old Miniature Aussie with a heart full of love. My world is full of wonder and curiosity. I love exploring new things and I'm a playful pup always ready for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle and snuggle up for a good nap or for a pet on my soft fur. My gentle nature and friendly spirit make me a great companion and I am just the right size to care for (appox 30 lbs). I've got energy to spare and a tail that won't stop wagging. COCO is a gorgeous brown and tan Australian Shepherd mix who was turned into the Agoura ACC in October and is ready for someone to choose her. COCO is a fun-loving, affectionate girl. She loves her human friends and is always ready for a cuddle session and lots of love. She enjoys playing with her toys, especially squeaky ones. Our sweet girl is goofy and loves to "talk" and ask to come out to the yard and play. She knows a few basic commands- sit, down and shake- which she will perform for treats, of course. And since she is treat-motivated, COCO can and is eager to learn more tricks and commands. This mild tempered girl is believed to be housebroken, walks beautifully on leash and enjoys sniffing and exploring. She will make a great companion for walks and hikes. COCO participates in the weekly big dog playgroup. She is social and fun. COCO has been waiting patiently for her forever home and is ready to be someone's best friend. She will do great with another dog or as an only queen. A soft bed and a bunch of toys would be a big plus.

Story

Chino is a good dog for the right home, but he has two flaws: he doesn't care to share an environment with any other dogs, and he can escape from almost any confinement. Since we like Border Collies in general, and since he was "overdue" at his animal shelter one day when we were there picking up another dog, he was also chosen and saved. We quickly learned that the part of Chino that is not Border Collie is probably one of the tundra breeds like Malamute, because we had to fully enclose every inch of his kennel to keep him in. (This was after he escaped from four previous attempts to kennel him.) The good news is that after escaping he only wanted to stay by the side of his human friends here at the rescue, so he'll need a pretty much constant human companion. Chino is about 3 years old and weighs about 80 pounds.
