He is currently being fostered in Sparta, TN and is more than ready to find the loving home he deserves. Petey was found roaming in a small East Tennessee town and was taken in by a kind Good Samaritan who searched for his owner—but sadly, no one ever came forward. His coat was heavily matted, and once he was able to visit a groomer, a very handsome boy emerged! Wanting the very best for him, his finder reached out for rescue, and Australian Shepherds Furever was happy to say yes. Petey has adjusted beautifully in his foster home. He is calm, laid-back, and truly lives up to the description of a perfect gentleman. He gets along great with other dogs and is good with children. While his experience with cats is unknown, he has been an easygoing and adaptable companion overall. Petey rides wonderfully in the car and loves going along for the adventure.
