Story
Biscuit was adopted into our family as a puppy. He is an extremely loving and protective dog. He is however very anxious and strong willed. We have two other rather large dogs and a cat as well. He is super protective of my wife, kids, and grandkids. We are not 100% convinced that we should rehome him. He is in perfect health. Our thinking at this point is that he would do best on a farm, where he could run and have responsibilities. He was bred to herd sheep and other animals. He shows this skill constantly with our chickens, but tries to do it with our other dogs and grandkids. We are considering a new home for him, provided he will be given the proper love and environment.

Meet Naylene, just like her name, she is one of a kind! This 9-year-old Australian Shepherd mix may be a senior, but do not let that fool you, this girl can run! Sweet, playful, and full of energy, Naylene still has plenty of pep in her step and a big love for stuffed toys (she carries them around like treasures!). She is new to the shelter, so we’re still getting to know her, but one thing is for sure , she has already stolen our hearts.

Toby is a sweet and playful Australian shepherd saved from a kill shelter. He loves playing with other dogs and needs a home that has a playmate for him. Toby also needs an owner with an active lifestyle who can help him get all his energy out everyday and also requires a home with a fenced in backyard! Here's the truth of it: Toby has a bite history. Toby will be very loyal and friendly to his family he knows but he WILL display protective behaviors when visitors come over and if not crated or kept on leash will bite them. Story
Reason for rehoming is because our 5 year old female dog isn’t getting along with him. He gets along with her & shows normal signs of trying to herd & play but she is extremely uncomfortable with him & hides from him. He is also a reactive dog towards children, some women and mostly men. He is severely triggered by the doorbell and people coming in the house. To be 100% transparent he has a bite history when people invade his space. He is not aggressive towards my partner & I, towards us he acts like a normal puppy who nips playfully and wants to play with us. Doesn’t like cuddles but allows kisses from us & loves booty scratches, belly rubs & to play fetch. We love him dearly, he’s a loving pup & full of energy. He’s very smart & completed a 6 weeks puppy class. Reactivity seems fearful, I believe with the right person & lots of training he can definitely get a second chance. We are looking for someone who can fulfill his needs because we no longer can.
