"not the mama, NOT the mama!!" Anyone remember the cute dinosaur show from the early 2000's?? Well, we said that so many times to our "bottle baby fosters" they just didn't know what to do with us :) But they kept feeding us, waking up at all hours of the night and making sure we were fed and happy and loved..... SO, we are growing quickly and getting ready for our furever families!! Not the mama goes to the wayside when we meet you :D We are happy go lucky pups, Bear Bear is more sensitive than his sisters, he was the shyest pup but has come out of his shell, he is the one who will cuddle with you (until someone else wants to play). Sissies Lioness and Cheeta are spicy girls, loving and playful and Lioness likes to hang out behind things and then cry for help to get out.... or she cries because she is alone, OR she cries because no one has gotten her yet! Cheeta is more independent but will let you hold her and cuddle for about 10 min and then it is back to exploring and playing with her siblings :) As their foster moms, we love these little turds and pray they find the right homes for them. Active and adventurous for the girls and more laid back for Bear! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!!! WE cannot save more without adoptions!! My name is Heppa and I am a black & white border collie/mix. I am a spayed female and I am 1 year old. I am here because my owner had too many dogs on their property. I was a mom to five puppies. I was surrendered with all my puppies. I`m so sad, because everyone adopted my puppies and left me behind. A few people even considered adopting me, but once they met my babies, they chose them over me. Now that my babies have been adopted, I`m READY to go to my forever home!I am potty trained (yay) and I can handle being left in a crate when my owner needs to leave me. I am a medium energy dog and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I have learned `sit` and do well with basic hand gestures (pointing down to tell me to get down from something, patting your knee to get me to come over) but I would still benefit from simple obedience training to help us bond and for us to learn how to communicate with each other. I do not do well with children, they are scary to me! I can be good with other dogs with a proper introduction, and I cannot live with cats - I think they are something to chase!
