Story
Hello, our names are Carson (m), Bridger (m), and Colton (m). We are the cutest, sweetest, funniest, silliest babies you have ever met. We are like watching a three ring circus never knowing who is going to do what. But, the more you laugh, the sillier we are. We are not bonded siblings. We live with other rescue pups. Here at my foster mom's place, there are adult dogs, cats & kittens, a horse and a rooster. She has a creek running through the property which is good because we LOVE water. Our lives began in a rural community. The man who owned my parents was not responsible. So, here we are. But the bad part is, he could not hardly pay for food, vetting our three boys, or fixing our parents. He could not even give us flea/ tick prevention or heartworm prevention for our parents. The kind lady who was notified about us took us into her rescue. Today we are fed, full vetting is being done, flea/ tick prevention along with heartworm prevention is being given. I would like to have a family who is active, likes the water, goes for walks, hiking, camping, snuggling and car rides. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. When you receive the application please fill out completely to include your three references email addresses. The references cannot be related to you. See you soon, I am waiting. Colton Male Not neutered Breed: Aussie/ Lab mix Age 15 weeks old (As of 05/19/2025) Weight: 18lbs Color: Yellow & white & Black Great with people, older children, dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens, a horse, and a rooster Adoption donation $495

Story
Bear was adopted as a young puppy, we have had him about a year. He is an Australian shepherd/lab mix. He is 1 year old. He was adopted for one of our daughters, but she no longer wants to care for a dog. Our schedule is too busy to show him the attention he deserves. He is a sweet boy! Loves to snuggle, loves to play. He is house trained, but loves to chew, needs lots of toys and attention. He is very playful and lovable.

Meet Powder & Frosty — Two Extraordinary Brothers Looking for Their Forever HomesPowder and Frosty are visually and hearing-impaired brothers who were surrendered to a shelter in Franklin TN. After spending several weeks waiting for help, Paws New England said yes immediately—and we’re so glad we did.Powdr is approximately 4 months old and currently around 25–30 lbs. He is currently with a foster in New England and playing well with the other dogs in the home. His new foster believes he is has some site and can navigate just fine but he is deaf. They have been working with hand signals and that is taking some time as he likes to just be active and play. What his ideal homes looks like:A friendly, well-adjusted dog already in the home that loves to playA fenced yard is preferred so he can safely enjoy outdoor timeExperienced adopters (especially those familiar with special-needs dogs) may be considered for alternative setupsA patient, loving family committed to helping a special pup thrive and committed to further trainingWe are still getting to know Powder and Frosty, but what’s already clear is that they are incredibly loving little souls who deserve homes filled with compassion, structure, and joy.If you’re interested in learning more about one of these angels, we encourage you to apply. Story
At around 3 years old, this handsome tri-colored boy is as sweet and mild-mannered as they come. With his striking, electric blue eyes (we’re guessing an Aussie mix!), he has a quiet way of capturing your heart without even trying. He’s not much for toys—instead, he prefers the simple things in life: soft pets, kind words, and just being near his people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily sit beside you, soaking up attention and offering calm, comforting companionship in return. He’s wonderful with kids and truly a “go-with-the-flow” kind of dog. He loves meeting new people and exploring the world around him. Like many dogs of his breed, he does enjoy regular exercise and outdoor time to stay happy and balanced—but once he’s had that, he settles in nicely and is content just being with his people. If you’re looking for a sweet, social dog who will happily join you for both adventures and downtime, he’s your guy. 💙Name: CosmoBreed: Australian Shepherd   (Breed mx is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: MaleAge: 3 years  (estimated)Weight: 43 lbs Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:  Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. After spending several weeks waiting for help, Paws New England said yes immediately—and we’re so glad we did. These sweet boys are approximately 4 months old and currently around 25–30 lbs. Despite their disabilities, they are truly delightful puppies who actively seek out human affection and love being part of the action. Right now, they’re staying on a farm in Tennessee, where they’re working with a trainer and being carefully observed as they interact with other dogs. We’ll continue to share updates as we learn more about their personalities and progress.Because Powder and Frosty rely on touch, scent, and routine to navigate the world, they will be adopted into separate homes, each with a confident, happy, sighted/hearing canine companion to help guide them and build their confidence. This is essential for their success. What their ideal homes look like:A friendly, well-adjusted dog already in the homeA fenced yard is preferred so they can safely enjoy outdoor timeExperienced adopters (especially those familiar with special-needs dogs) may be considered for alternative setupsA patient, loving family committed to helping a special pup thriveWe are still getting to know Powder and Frosty, but what’s already clear is that they are incredibly loving little souls who deserve homes filled with compassion, structure, and joy.If you’re interested in learning more about one of these angels, we encourage you to apply. Story
Meet Echo Echo is a 4-month-old white Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her fluffy paws. This sweet girl is full of curiosity, love, and playful puppy energy. She may be deaf, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. Echo experiences the world in her own unique way, relying on sight, touch, and connection to learn and bond with the people and pets around her. Echo would thrive in a home with another confident, friendly dog who can help show her the ropes and build her confidence. She loves to watch and follow her canine companions, picking up on routines and behaviors quickly. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Echo is already learning how to navigate her world beautifully. She is affectionate, eager to connect, and will make an incredibly loyal companion for someone willing to embrace her special way of experiencing life. Echo may need a little extra guidance, but she gives back tenfold in love. If you’re looking for a devoted, resilient, and truly special pup, Echo is ready to find her forever home If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter.   If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today!
