Meet Skye, Cobalt and Aubrey, three southern babies looking for their forever families! These three cuties were discovered when someone from a local vet in Georgia saw a Facebook post giving away three puppies. After some time in a foster, they made their way to us in Cape Ann. While we know these guys are too cute, we suspect they have some Australian Shepherd in their mix, known to be a very smart and energetic breed, they are looking for a family that won’t mind keeping up with their energetic personalities, mouthy-puppy behaviors and working with them to keep them mentally stimulated. Well, here we are again....rescues cleaning up the mess made by backyard breeders AND the idiots that buy from them. This absolutely GORGEOUS boy Everest is a double merle Aussie mix. Bred for the extra special coloring that people look to buy......this often comes with a cost. He needed entropion surgery (eyelashes growing in instead of out, scratching this poor boys eye for his whole life suffering). So, they dumped him. What else is new. He does have sight limitation in that eye due to the damage done over time. Doesn't slow him down at all. He is potty and crate trained too!! But LOOK AT HIM NOW!!!!!! His buddy Jordan provided comfort to him when he went to the vet, hugging him and reading him stories. He is THE SWEETEST dog. About 50 pounds. Young adult. He is recovering from successful surgery and doing amazing. Gentle and loving. Getting ready to travel north. PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Blue! Blue is approximately 2 years old and 70 lbs currently and he likely has some Aussie in his mix. Blue was surrendered after his person moved and couldn`t keep him. In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could join households with dog-savvy kids 10+, cats, and other dogs (prefers females).His foster says, `Blue is a good boy! I think he would love to have an active family. He’s very well mannered and does good inside. He’s crate trained and potty trained and he’s a beautiful boy!`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in March.
