Story
Ivy is true to her breed and would a wonderful family dog. Ivy has lots of energy and an even bigger heart. Ivy loves to run, play, and—especially—enjoy her toys (the more, the better!). She does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a nice yard where she can stretch her legs and burn off her energy. Ivy is smart and learns quickly; she’s eager to please and already loves showing off tricks like giving her paw. When playtime is over, she’s all about cuddles and being close to her people. Ivy is affectionate, playful, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. ##2650856##

Ember **Not Available to Be Seen Until Open House on Wednesday 2/11** Good with Kids & Dogs! Meet Ember! 5 yrs./35 lb./Female/Aussie/Retriever Mix Name: Ember Age: 5 year Weight: 35 lbs Breed: Aussie Mix Status: Single, soulful, and hoping this is her year for love ✨❤️ About Me: Hi, I’m Ember — gentle-hearted, quietly charming, and the kind of girl who looks at you like you’re the only person in the room. I may not be the loudest pup at the party, but once I choose you, I’m all in. I love my people deeply and bond fast with those who take the time to know me. I enjoy walks, calm playtime, and being close — whether that’s sitting at your feet or leaning in for reassurance. I’m smart, thoughtful, and have that classic Aussie sensitivity that makes me incredibly in tune with my humans. If you believe love should feel safe, steady, and warm… we might be a Pawfect match. Best Qualities: • Sweet, affectionate, and emotionally intuitive • Loyal once bonded — a true heart dog • Smart and eager to please • Calm, gentle presence with a playful side • Expert at soulful eye contact My Ideal Match: • A patient, loving home that believes in building trust • Someone who wants a close companion, not just a pet • A family or individual who enjoys walks, quiet moments, and meaningful connection • Humans ready to give love — and receive it tenfold Deal Breakers: • Not ideal for a chaotic or constantly changing environment • Needs reassurance, kindness, and consistency • Wouldn’t thrive with someone looking for an independent, hands-off dog Fun Fact: Still young at heart — I believe growing up doesn’t mean slowing down. ❤️🐾 This Valentine’s season, Ember isn’t asking for much — just a forever person who sees her gentle heart and chooses her back. And once she does? You’ll never feel alone again. ❤️🐶

Story
Meet Bear, a charming mini Australian Shepherd mixed with an Ori-Pei, which is a blend of Shar Pei and Pug. Bear is incredibly intelligent and thrives on affection; he truly loves being loved. If you're searching for a loyal companion to keep you company, Bear is the perfect pup for you. We’re not in a hurry to rehome him; we genuinely want to find the right fit. We adore Bear and know he deserves more than we can currently provide. He longs to be the baby of the household, but with a three-year-old in the mix, we’ve noticed some jealousy on his part. Bear would thrive in a family without young children, though teenagers would be just fine. He’s full of energy and loves to run and play. After attending dog school for four months, he mastered his commands and made plenty of canine friends. He also gets along wonderfully with our cat. If you're ready to welcome a loving and spirited companion into your home, Bear could be the one for you!

Story
This handsome was left to care for himself in ARK, a good person picked him up when he was starving, took him in and care for him. Now he is ready to come to Mass.  Midnight is right at a year old and he absolutely LOVES kids. He’s a gentle, good boy, gets along with dogs but he’s a “mature” fella (he thinks) so over aggressive playful dogs are not his thing. Someone out there is looking for this guy… fully vetted, 45 lbs He will be here mid Feb, if you are interested please apply www.fromalontohomerescue.org  ##2643466##
