Story
Hello, our names are Carson (m), Bridger (m), and Colton (m). We are the cutest, sweetest, funniest, silliest babies you have ever met. We are like watching a three ring circus never knowing who is going to do what. But, the more you laugh, the sillier we are. We are not bonded siblings. We live with other rescue pups. Here at my foster mom's place, there are adult dogs, cats & kittens, a horse and a rooster. She has a creek running through the property which is good because we LOVE water. Our lives began in a rural community. The man who owned my parents was not responsible. So, here we are. But the bad part is, he could not hardly pay for food, vetting our three boys, or fixing our parents. He could not even give us flea/ tick prevention or heartworm prevention for our parents. The kind lady who was notified about us took us into her rescue. Today we are fed, full vetting is being done, flea/ tick prevention along with heartworm prevention is being given. I would like to have a family who is active, likes the water, goes for walks, hiking, camping, snuggling and car rides. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. When you receive the application please fill out completely to include your three references email addresses. The references cannot be related to you. See you soon, I am waiting. Colton Male Not neutered Breed: Aussie/ Lab mix Age 15 weeks old (As of 05/19/2025) Weight: 18lbs Color: Yellow & white & Black Great with people, older children, dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens, a horse, and a rooster Adoption donation $495

Story
Meet Powder & Frosty — Two Extraordinary Brothers Looking for Their Forever HomesPowder and Frosty are visually and hearing-impaired brothers who were surrendered to a shelter in Franklin. After spending several weeks waiting for help, Paws New England said yes immediately—and we’re so glad we did. These sweet boys are approximately 4 months old and currently around 25–30 lbs. Despite their disabilities, they are truly delightful puppies who actively seek out human affection and love being part of the action. Right now, they’re staying on a farm in Tennessee, where they’re working with a trainer and being carefully observed as they interact with other dogs. We’ll continue to share updates as we learn more about their personalities and progress.Because Powder and Frosty rely on touch, scent, and routine to navigate the world, they will be adopted into separate homes, each with a confident, happy, sighted/hearing canine companion to help guide them and build their confidence. This is essential for their success. What their ideal homes look like:A friendly, well-adjusted dog already in the homeA fenced yard is preferred so they can safely enjoy outdoor timeExperienced adopters (especially those familiar with special-needs dogs) may be considered for alternative setupsA patient, loving family committed to helping a special pup thriveWe are still getting to know Powder and Frosty, but what’s already clear is that they are incredibly loving little souls who deserve homes filled with compassion, structure, and joy.If you’re interested in learning more about one of these angels, we encourage you to apply. Sometimes the most special dogs come with extra needs—and even bigger hearts.Name: FrostyBreed: Australian ShepherdSex: MaleAge: 16 weeks  (estimated)Weight: 30 lbs as of 2/12/2026Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Rhode Island - 2/27/2026IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
This handsome was left to care for himself in ARK, a good person picked him up when he was starving, took him in and care for him. Now he is ready to come to Mass.  Midnight is right at a year old and he absolutely LOVES kids. He’s a gentle, good boy, gets along with dogs but he’s a “mature” fella (he thinks) so over aggressive playful dogs are not his thing. Someone out there is looking for this guy… fully vetted, 45 lbs He will be here mid Feb, if you are interested please apply www.fromalontohomerescue.org  ##2643466##

Story
Meet Magnolia (affectionately known as Maggie)! 🌸 Maggie is a beautiful Australian Shepherd / Great Pyrenees mix born at the end of July. She is a happy, active puppy with a joyful spirit and a heart full of love. Maggie is a double merle and, because of this, she is deaf—but that certainly doesn’t slow her down or hold her back in life! Maggie is incredibly smart and a quick learner. She is eager to please and has already shown how capable she is at learning through consistency and positive reinforcement. We are looking for an adopter with experience with deaf dogs—or someone willing to learn—who is committed to training her using hand signals and providing the structure she needs to thrive. For her safety, Maggie will require a securely fenced yard. She absolutely adores playing with other dogs, and we feel she would do best in a home with a friendly canine companion to help her continue building confidence and burning off puppy energy. Maggie is doing wonderfully with house training and has mastered using the dog door. In a home without a dog door, she will just need a little extra guidance to continue her success. At night, she sleeps comfortably in a dog bed but is also crate-trained if needed. She walks well on a leash and is continuing to grow into a very well-rounded young lady. Maggie is expected to be a large dog, and due to her size, breed traits, and enthusiasm, she would do best in a home with older children. She is truly a special girl with so much potential, and her foster family is dedicated to finding the perfect forever home—one that will nurture her, support her unique needs, and help her continue her journey into a confident, successful pup. If you’re looking for a remarkable dog with a big heart and are ready to embrace something truly special, Maggie may be your perfect match. 💛🐾 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
