Story
Paisley is a Female Aussie/Terrier mix. DOB: June of 2022 Adoption fee: $100.00 I am not a big girl. I was quite thin upon arrival at the shelter. I have now been spayed, and I am gaining weight at a healthy rate. I am an active girl, so I may always be on the slender side. I am doing well with leash walking. I am clean in my kennel and will wait patiently for my turn to go out. I may require a physically fenced-in yard. Not much information was provided on intake, and I can be a little nervous in new situations. I appear to be playful towards other dogs but may have too much of a prey drive to be in a home with cats. I will be a great walking or playing in the yard buddy. I am sure once I have exercised, I will also enjoy taking naps.

Story
“HI ALL!!! My name is Tina (but I answer to hand signals!) I’m under 4years old as much as I love my friends here I really would LOVE a foster or forever home that can help me along- I have had a hard time training due to being deaf and some people just don’t understand me:( I would require a new parent to be very understanding and knowledgeable regarding hearing impaired pets or willing to work with me. I have been returned a few times due to my mouth getting me into trouble:( But, I know my forever home is out there!!! I’m the best girl ever I promise and I would LOVE a place to call home for now or permanently that has prior experience with a deaf puppy!!!”   ##575157##

Meet Cody, a ray of sunshine in puppy form! This little guy is an affectionate and gentle soul who loves everyone he meets. With a playful spirit and a sharp mind, Cody is always up for an adventure, whether it's exploring the great outdoors or learning new tricks. He's a quick learner and a real charmer, ready to bring joy and laughter to his new family. Cody is a true people-pleaser and will be your loyal companion through thick and thin. He's a bundle of potential, waiting to grow and thrive with a family of his own. Could that be you? Cody is about 9 months old. He plays well with all of the other dogs and loves people. He weighs just 30lbs so he will be on the smaller side. This boy just makes you happy. Cody is currently in the prison training program. He is housebroken, crate trained and learning lots of new commands.

Story
Hi, I'm Abby! I have been at the shelter for a while now and really want to find my forever home. I am an Aussie/ heeler mix and have the personality to match. I will fit best with somebody who is willing to invest in dog training and has experience with herding dogs. If you give me a little time to learn what you want from me, I know I will make you happy. I prefer a human with an active lifestyle and want a fenced yard to run in to keep me physically active. Since I'm a very intelligent dog, I would love to have my brain challenged! I would prefer a home without other animals or children. I have some arthritis in my hips and the vet has found a protocol that keeps me comfortable. Feel free to ask us about it!Please come meet me soon!DOB 8/8/20 44 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes.
