Story
Meet Jack, a sweet and sensitive 4-year-old dog looking for a very special forever home. He was adopted from a shelter and was believed to be a stray, and he still struggles with severe separation anxiety. Jack needs an experienced adopter who can help him work through his behavioral challenges and provide the steady routine he depends on. He would do best with someone who is home most of the day—such as a retired person, someone who works from home, or a patient family with children. Jack loves exercise and would thrive with a fenced-in yard, as he can be a flight risk when nervous. He has recently begun having accidents in the home, which we believe are caused by anxiety and a schedule change. It truly breaks our hearts to rehome him, but we know he deserves the consistent care and attention we can no longer provide. We hope to find the person who will be his true forever home.

Story
Luna is 1 year old and will turn 2 on 5/19/26, she is full grown and just shy of 30 pounds. She is half mini-Aussie half standard Aussie. She is very kind, lovable and sweet. She is currently a farm dog, but she could be trained/house broke she is still very young. She is smart, she loves people! She is not spayed. She is vet checked, up to date on shots, just had a 3-month oral medicine for flea and tick prevention. She's fine with other dogs as long as the other dogs are not aggressive, she can't be trusted to be left alone with cats, but she is fine with cats if people are around and keeping an eye on her and the cats. Luna is Halo collar trained, halo collar not included.

Story
Angel 3 months old Female Australian Shepherd mix Angel and her siblings found themselves at a rural shelter but thankfully with some teamwork and all hands on deck, they’re so close to settling into the comforts of real homes and we’re so excited for them! They will arrive to the Buffalo, NY area on Sunday 4/26 and are eligible for our foster to adopt program. Foster to adopt will entail a 10 day trial period on a foster basis and the puppy will be examined by our vet during this time. If it’s the right pup for you, you’ll adopt at that time - if not, you’ll continue to foster until a forever home is found! Spay/neuter will be done by our vet at 6 months old and is included in their adoption fee. Please note, there is no meet and greet for foster to adopt - you are agreeing to take the puppy directly off transport since you are not required to adopt if it’s not the right fit. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting a puppy please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Adopters must be local enough to get them to our vets in the Buffalo/south towns areas for appointments and spay/neuter. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.
