Story
I’m heartbroken to have to make this post, but we need to find the right home for our pup, Obi. He is 6 years old and will be turning 7 on October 26th.Obi has severe anxiety around small children, which can trigger stress-induced seizures. Since our toddler has become more active and mobile, his stress levels have increased. Our vet has recommended rehoming him, as training has not improved the situation. It isn’t fair to Obi to live in constant stress, and it isn’t fair to our toddler to be limited from acting like a normal child.Obi has worked with a trainer and does very well on walks. He still needs some continued work with obedience, but he is a loving, intelligent dog with so much to offer. He gets along best with female dogs, but he also does well with our male Husky. He loves playing fetch, catching balls in the air, and running laps.We are looking for a loving home with no children 8 years old or younger. Obi is neutered, but he is not up to date on vaccines.

These pups are in Buffalo, New York too!

Story
Meet Heylem, he is a loyal energetic vocal protector. He is a 6 year old Cattle dog mix. Heylem would do best in a family with only him or other dogs possibly but he does not get along with cats. He is a cattle dog so I would prefer his new owner to have experience with cattle dog breeds or do research on his breed. You will find no other loyal friend like this guy. Unfortunately I don’t have the time or space to give him what he needs, I think he would do best with a family with a large or fenced in yard or someone willing to do many adventures with him, he loves walks and hikes.

Story
Tonto comes from Texas where he was left outside and chained to a tree as a puppy. I adopted him and have tried working with him. He clearly experienced abuse. He becomes afraid very easily. He can be the sweetest guy. He's not the best with unknown dogs or children. Kids can be hit or miss. They must understand not to scare Tonto. Trying to play with Tonto is not a good idea. He will think it's aggression and does not understand. He's' a working dog. He needs lots of exercise.

Story
Name: HollyAge: 9 monthsWeight: 25lbs Breed: Aussie mixSex: FemaleLocation: Buffalo Hi, I’m Holly! Do you like having fun, running, playing, and getting snuggles? Me too!! I especially like running around the yard really really fast! I could play outside all day if I was allowed to (but really, please don’t leave me alone).  I get overwhelmed and excited sometimes so I accidentally nip at the humans but I don’t mean to! I’m still young and learning to contain my excitement. I am a herding dog after all, I like to keep things in order! Please give me a chance.  I potty outside  I don’t need a crate (but I will go in one if needed) I know “sit” and “come” I love treats I play well with dogs and cats of all sizes  I give the best cuddles and kisses I would do best in a home with no young children, but would do well with respectful teens and adults. A large yard is required as Holly loves to run and needs to get her energy out.  If you are interested in adopting Holly, please apply at https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved ##2662065##
