Story
Sky is 1 yr old Australian Shepherd mix. 40 pounds. She is crate trained, house broken, knows basic commands. Loves head scratches and cuddles. She is spayed and microchipped. Very smart girl. Sky enjoys playing and to spend time outdoors. Loves and is very protective of kids and other dogs. Not the best around cats. Not leash trained and still training to like car rides. She will be a great family addition to any family. Rehoming due to family allergies and recent health issues where I'm not able to give the time and attention she deserves.   The above is what her mom has to say about SKY.  The mom is just sick over having to put her up for adoption but she is highly allerigic to her as well as a non-shedding Maltese that was in the home.  SKY is very lonely without her playmate.  Please consider adopting her.   If you are interested in adopting SKY, please call her mom at 210-445-2681 or you can email her at cynthia.lugardo@gmail.com   SKY's adoption fee is $200   Thank you.      ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         July 31, 2025, 9:47 am

Story
Meet Maple! Who goes by “Suga”! Maple is a 6 year old Aussie with a huge personality. She is the most playful, loving, and loyal dog. We are looking for her new forever home after rescuing her from a bad situation. We are unsure of her stance with children as she hasn’t had much exposure. She needs an experienced owner and although she did grow up with another dog in her previous home is very anxious around unknown dogs so a single dog home is best at first. Maple came from an abusive home where she was crated for most of the day. She can be weary of strangers entering the house & can take a while to warm up, once she does, she’s as loving as can be. Maple has come such a long way after being removed from her last home. She loves to play, loves tosses and is so smart! Tell her the toy is “too far” and she will bring it closer to you! Maple requires a bit more time, attention, and space than we are currently able to give her. Please reach out for more info!

Story
Meet Jack, a sweet and sensitive 4-year-old dog looking for a very special forever home. He was adopted from a shelter and was believed to be a stray, and he still struggles with severe separation anxiety. Jack needs an experienced adopter who can help him work through his behavioral challenges and provide the steady routine he depends on. He would do best with someone who is home most of the day—such as a retired person, someone who works from home, or a patient family with children. Jack loves exercise and would thrive with a fenced-in yard, as he can be a flight risk when nervous. He has recently begun having accidents in the home, which we believe are caused by anxiety and a schedule change. It truly breaks our hearts to rehome him, but we know he deserves the consistent care and attention we can no longer provide. We hope to find the person who will be his true forever home.
