Story
We are looking for a BETTER place for our 2 year old Miniature Aussie- Saint. His behavior can be “ sporadic”  with people, children and other dogs.He is very smart and loves to play fetch with his favorite blue ball! Especially at grandmas house where he has a big fenced in back yard to run around lots( grandma has three little doggies which he seems to do fine with most of the time, he also has other doggies cousins that are larger breeds and has played fine with them). We are heartbroken to even have to be considering rehoming him but we feel his sporadic reactivity that sometimes turns into aggression is happening because he is in the wrong environment (city/ apartment living- makes it hard to take on walks because he reacts to people and other doggies randomly , young kids and our long work hours). We got a mini dachshund thinking it would help if he had a playmate but he tends to play rough with his brother at times as well.  He does tend to mind better with my husband over myself. I feel he would flourish with an owner who is familiar with the breed and can train with him. Also in an environment where there are no babies or young children, possibly only dog in the home, and where he has a big fenced in yard to run and play till he gets worn out.  He is neutered and crate trained . He is a wonderful and smart dog that we feel can flourish in the right environment &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 if interested please our website at STFFAR.org for a online application April 17, 2024, 11:18 am

Story
16-month old male. He came to us as an 8 week old, injured stray, although we were able to track down his origins to confirm parentage, the owners did not want him back. He is very healthy now. He knows basic commands of sit, down, heel, come, and stay and is a total ball of energy who sometimes struggles to heed commands. He is a very happy boy who needs a lot of room to run. He is house broken to the crate and the laundry room. He is approximately 60 lbs and largely does well with other animals, but has been noted to be possessive of toys and food at times so if around other dogs children we have separated. He will chase our chickens and cats sometimes but has never attempted to harm them. The vet has recommended he remain intact until 18-24 months of age to prevent bone/joint/cancer problems in the future.

Lex is super sweet and gentle.  He is great with other dogs and children.  Unfortunately, he tested positive for Cushings Disease.  Basically, that means he has to be on medication.  Other than that, he is such a wonderful, easy dog.  He weighs 42 pounds and would love your New Best Friend. ##1995044##

Story
Still looking for a BETTER place for our 6-Year-Old Black Tri-color Australian Shepherd He is a very smart and cuddly dog who loves to play fetch. We are heartbroken to even consider rehoming him, but his reactivity has turned into aggression because he is in the wrong environment (trucks, bikes, kids, strollers&hellip). He bit my husband 2 years ago (severe bite) because he was trying to keep him away from biting our other dog. We went to many trainers and a certified behavior specialist who strongly advised against keeping him or even euthanizing him because he can’t be trusted around children. If there is anyone in a remote area without children, male dogs or cats please reach out.
