Story
Pistachio is a one-year-old, medium sized, mixed-breed with a totally mysterious lineage & backstory (he was found as a stray). Whatever his breed mix (maybe some kind of shepherd with all that fluff?), it clearly includes equal parts good looks, goofiness, and friendliness. Personal space? Pistachio’s never heard of it. He loves affection and will happily park himself at your feet, on your lap, or anywhere he can be close to his people. He’d make a great work from home companion. He’s a great car rider so would also enjoy accompanying you on any weekend adventures. When it comes to playtime, Pistachio is wonderfully self-sufficient. He’s tried just about every toy in the bin and can entertain himself, but he also loves a good game of tug or fetch when you’re up for it. Pistachio gets along well with other playful pups (he’s currently fostered with 2 other dogs) and would be thrilled to have a tolerant or equally energetic doggy sibling—or he’ll happily take all your attention as a solo sidekick. He’s the perfect fit for an active person that’s willing to maintain the structure he’s accustomed to and continue working on basic obedience. He’s very food motivated, which makes him easy to train. His foster, who has professional dog training experience, is also more than willing to offer support after adoption as well. Pistachio is UTD on vaccines, kept on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, neutered & microchipped. His adoption fee is $350. Story
Layla was given to me by my nephew and his wife as a puppy. She raised around cats. She has been around small children. She is a loving dog who loves to hug everyone she meets. She will cuddle with you if you let her. I am looking for a home that loves animals. They must be caring. She has been spoiled and sits on the couch, sleeps in the bed, but with a little patient training that could be changed. I am willing to reimburse or pay for spaying and shots once she is adopted and settles into new home.

Story
Quinn is a beautiful tricolor Australian Shepherd who has known a lifetime of love — and now finds himself needing one more chance. At 6 years old, this mellow, kind-hearted boy is not old, just settled and soulful. He was raised from a puppy by elderly owners who adored him completely, and while that love came with far too many extra meals and treats, it also gave Quinn a gentle spirit and deep trust in people. He currently weighs around 80 pounds, but with properly measured food and daily walks, his healthy weight of 50 to 55 pounds is well within reach.   Quinn’s life was turned upside down when his owners moved into assisted living, and he had to say goodbye to the only home he had ever known on New Year’s Eve. He misses them, and that quiet sadness lingers, but it has not dimmed his sweetness or his willingness to connect. He has lived harmoniously with cats, dogs, chickens, and goats, and brings a calm, respectful presence wherever he goes.   This boy is housebroken, non-destructive, and content to relax when left alone. He can use a crate if needed but does not require one. Right now, stairs are difficult due to his weight, but he manages them and will improve greatly as his health journey progresses. With gentle daily walks, proper portions, and a human who believes in him, Quinn can safely lose weight and rediscover the joy of movement over the coming months.   Quinn has many good years ahead of him and so much love still to give. He doesn’t need perfection — just patience, understanding, and someone willing to walk beside him as he begins again.
