Albus was one of the 6 dogs we rescued from a cruelty case. He is slowly coming around and learning to trust his foster parents. Story
Meet Ash! Ash is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a boundless capacity for love and a curiosity that keeps her exploring the world. This sweet and playful girl adores being the center of attention and will happily soak up all the affection you can give. She’s happiest when she’s with her people, always eager to please and stay close. Ash thrives on active play and loves roughhousing with her big foster brother. She’s a quick learner, excelling in her training and always ready to tackle new challenges with enthusiasm. A fenced-in yard would be perfect for this energetic pup to safely burn off energy while she continues to blossom into her best self. Though she hasn’t had the chance to meet kids yet, Ash is wonderful with other dogs and is housebroken—a big plus for any prospective family. If you’re looking for a devoted, lively companion who will bring endless joy, Ash is ready to join your pack and make every day an adventure! Ash is ready to find her forever family—could that be you? ##2244974##

Story
Hello my name is Journey. I am an Australian Shepherd mix. I am a lovable companion and looking for a new home. Quick facts: * Male, neutered * 9 years old * 55 pounds * House trained * Good with owners, adults * Fully vaccinated * Healthy I have been a loyal dog to my owners since being rescued eight years ago in Raleigh, NC. At first, I was a great companion to my single owner. Then, when my owner became married, I enjoyed the new relationship. A few weeks ago, a new baby was born and now things are too busy here, so I am currently staying with my grandparents. I enjoy being a great companion. I can be rather independent too. You might find me sitting next to you on the sofa, or more often than not you may find that I am resting in a quiet place of the house for a long nap. I do like to go outside a couple times a day. I like to play once in a while by pulling on a rope toy. I don’t like loud noises - such as thunderstorms - or strange sounds. I am not comfortable around other dogs and cats. I answer to most commands and I come when called. I go by Journey, Jay, or J-Dog. I hope you will consider me as your future companion. Please contact michael.g.scheu@gmail.com

I'm gentle, never rough. I'm a bit of a couch potato even at my young age. I'm loyal and very attached to my friends. I truly feel that I need a buddy, another dog who can show me the ropes as I am not always brave or confident. I promise to be the best addition to your family. Adopt me, and let's create unforgettable memories together! Story
Don't just hold on...put your seatbelts on for this looker as Mordecai recently arrived at the farm and we're pretty sure he fell off the GQ bus! Mordecai is a border collie come something else stunning mix who is an adult weighing a good and healthy 61 lbs full grown. We need not mention the markings or his eyes, as your have a pair of your own and are clearly already swooning over this picture. Mordecai is a social guy who has made lots of gal pals at the farm and would likely be best paired with another female dog if there are any in the home. Don't be fooled though, he is confident and could be the center of your universe on his own as well. He enjoys the outdoors and has a healthy young adult energy level and would do great with active and even adventurous people as he does not shy away from much. Mordecai is ready to bring these looks and this total package to your house and truly make it home! **Volunteer Dog Walk feedback: "Mordecai was an absolute joy to walk with! He was incredibly calm throughout the hike, never pulled on the leash, and was eager for pets and cuddles from everyone. Mordecai interacted beautifully with both people and other dogs, though his main focus was soaking up love and attention from humans. While he was an independent walker, he showed polite interest in other dogs now and then".
