We purchased Mia 3 years ago as a puppy. We recently moved and she is not doing well with the change and is experiencing behavioral issues, anxiety and having lots of accidents in the house and in her crate. Our prior home had a large yard where she could run and burn off steam. We have a small yard and she doesn’t have much space to move around. She is an active breed; a mini Australian Shepherd, who would do better in a different environment. She gets along well with other pets and children.

He lived with multiple dogs prior to arriving at the shelter and currently does very well with the dogs he has been introduced here. He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested negative for heartworm, and microchipped. He LOVES playing in the pools here, loves toys----he will require a home that is ready for a highly energetic dog. He’s 2.5 years old, I sort of rescued him from a different home where he wasn’t getting the best care and did the best I could. He needs someone who will give him more time and patience. Positives:-Great with kids and not aggressive, though he sometimes doesn't realize his own size.-Not possessive of food or toys.-Affectionate, cuddly, and very clingy.-Funny, goofy, and full of personality.Negatives:-House-trained, but has occasional accidents due to separation anxiety (mostly urine, sometimes both urine and stool if left longer). There is no consistent pattern to when accidents happen.-Not crate-trained. Crate training has increased his anxiety because he associates the crate with being left alone.-Reactive/aggressive toward other dogs when they're on leashes and can be difficult to redirect, though he does not redirect aggression toward people. He regularly attends doggy daycare and does well with other dogs in that off-leash social setting.
