Meet Moana. She is a 4 year old purebred Australian Shepherd. Moana weighs 43 lbs. She came from a household who had other dogs and is now in a foster with dogs and does great. She is also very good with respectful children. Moana is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She just needs a 4dx test which is scheduled for 1/9. UPDATE: Her test was negative for everything. We do want an adopter to have a fenced yard and maybe some breed knowledge. She was an also housebroken. Her adoption fee is $250. If interested in Moana, please email hartmanshounds@gmail.com. Who remembers our Frozen litter from 2019? Olaf unfortunately is being “let go” from his owners & returned to rescue. ❄️⛄️He is a 6 year old Aussie, Cur, Coonhound & Rottie mix. He is fully house & crate trained. He’s been through a board & train but unfortunately has developed a resource guard & dog issues since a new baby arrived. 🍼👶🏼His family has decided to send him back to rescue. I adopted Penny from a shelter about 4 years ago. She is sweet as dogs get. She is an Aussie Staffie mix. I need to rehome her because we are moving into a rental and are expecting several moves for work in the near future. Having pets makes work travel difficult and renting homes very limited. Penny loves frisbie. She is great with other dogs and does well at the dog park.

Abelia is the perfect dog. Loving, smart, beautiful, cuddly, stays with her person, active but not hyper, medium sized, adult but still young, great with dogs of all sizes, great with cats and kittens, walks well on the leash, does well in a crate, not a barker. She was dumped with another dog and a local resident reached out for help so the dogs wouldn't starve or get hit by a car. They are now safe at the rescue. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
