Story
We are looking to rehome our 2 yr old red tri, small standard Australian Shepherd. Cheyanne. She is super sweet , smart and very much a snuggle buddy. Besides snuggling she loves to hike or have a job to do. We are unfortunately looking to rehome her due to the fact that her and another female in our home do not get along as they have matured. Been a couple fights that have escalated to not safe for Cheyanne at all. Cheyanne does get along with other dogs in our home, but she does better with males than females. Cheyanne has been super sweet to my grandkids and other family…people have never been an issue. We don’t have small animals so I have no idea if she’d get along with other pets such as cats. She knows basic obedience, great for grooming, use grinder on nails . She does have desire to have a job , so if you wanted to do something with her, she’d be ready to go. The adoption fee asking is to cover her spay she received in December, but am open to adjust for best home.

Story
Bindi is a 4 year and 10 month old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix weighing 36 pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to not being able to provide the time and attention she needs. Potential adopters required to understand breed specific needs. Bindi is a high energy dog and needs an active family, she will not do well if left alone for any period of time. Bindi can be timid with strangers, letting her approach you is best. Once she knows you, she's a very sweet girl and loves belly rubs. Bindi is very smart, quick to listen to commands, she's been through puppy training and basic obedience classes. She loves to be outside and go on adventures, good at parks. She LOVES to play fetch, a tennis ball is her favorite toy. If she does not have a daily outlet for her energy and need to "work" or is left alone she becomes very anxious. When she becomes bored she gets herself into trouble. She is good but selective with other dogs, another dog in the home may help her thrive, she can resource guard with her toys and other dogs-supervision needed at all times with toys. Good with children over 12 who will understand her boundaries. Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $20.75. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Story
Moose is a sweetheart! I got moose from a breeder that specializes in doodle mixes. He turned one on February 22nd, so he still has the mindset of a puppy. He loves to be active and outside, especially playing with toys (the chewy kind) and playing with other kids. In a new family, im looking to put him in a home that has kids or has an active lifestyle. Who can put time and effort into him, he is potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, up and down. He has a bit shorter for his breed because of his stubby legs, but that is what makes him cute and unique! He has a bit of anxiety especially when meeting TALL people and need time to warm up, he barks with his tail under his legs and scoot back because of his fear. He just needs to get out more and a family with patience. He isVERY easy to train and such a smart dog. He is funny, caring, loving and protective when needs to be! Moose will be the fit for your family :)
