Story
Luna is a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog/Australian Shepherd mix 65 weighing pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Luna is a friendly and happy girl! She has a lot of energy and doesn't realize her own size. She's playful, enjoys all toys & playing fetch. She has separation anxiety which means she does not do well when left alone. She would thrive in an active home that can spend lots of time with her and provide an outlet for her energy. Housebroken and crate trained. Great with baths. Will chew on shoes if given the opportunity and when left alone. Can be fearful of men with loud voices. Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! Story
Nimbus is a mixed‑breed boy who most closely resembles a Bohemian Spotted Dog, and his personality is every bit as lovely as his looks. He’s gentle, kind, goofy, and incredibly affectionate — the type of dog who loves to hold hands, give kisses, and curl up right beside you. He’s wonderfully social with other dogs and often acts as a calming buffer for pups who can be a bit selective. Smart and eager to learn, Nimbus thrives on training and is especially motivated by play; his favorite toy is a stuffed duck that quacks like the real thing. He’s expressive, full of personality, and truly wants to be someone’s best friend. Because he’s easily startled by quick movements and feels nervous around small children, he would be happiest in a calm home without them. With the right family, Nimbus will be the most loyal, loving, and joyful companion — the perfect boy waiting for his perfect match.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Nimbus' adoption fee is $275. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Dolly has completely forgotten that she was neglected, skinny and completely shut down with nine pups depending on her to survive. From day one, she has lived with one of our experienced fosterers and dozens of rotating roommates of all different ages and sizes. She's very social and affectionate and is very well behaved on walks or just hanging out. She uses a doggy door into a fenced in yard. She does great on car rides and has a very passive personality. She hasn't barked at her foster home, so does she even know how? She is a perfect playmate for pretty much anything playful. She's had 5 different applicants who decided against adoption at the last second. That is because Dolly is waiting patiently for her special someone that we know is waiting on her. Now is the time to make this beautiful lady a part of your family. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
