Story
This is Rugar the best dog ever and with a very sad heart I need to re home him im moving and they dont allow dogs. He is an Australian shepherd mixed with a black lab. He is 2. He really is the best dog he cuddles and shakes and gives hugs. Hes very good with other animals and loves walks. I WOULDNT be doing this if I had any other option. I will not just be giving him up to just anyone I need to know hes going to get all the love he needs. He is very energetic and needs room to run he has been around seven small dogs almost his whole life he gets along with our cat he tries to play. He is the most loving cuddly dog ever. He thinks hes a lap dog.

Story
Apollo (Appa) is a good dog, gentle for the most part (he does like to play and is oblivious to his size) and has done well with kids, other dogs (after he gets used to them), and cats. He's a 4.5 year old Aussie mix and up-to-date on shots. Apollo has Canine Epilepsy and takes quite a few meds to keep his seizures under control. The meds help for the most part, but occasionally he still has an episode. He's not neutered since he had seizures before we could take him in. He'd do best with a fenced in yard where he can run. Our family is growing, and we find we can't give him the time and care he needs anymore, but he's a good dog and we'd love to see him go to a loving home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Susie is a beautiful Aussie mix. She is a 2 years old and is 70lbs. Susie is fearful when meeting new people and takes time to be comfortable. It may take multiple meet and greets for Susie. She would do best in a quiet house with a consistent routine. She does jump up on people when she is happy to see them. She loves to play with toys and other dogs her size with proper introduction. She does love to chew Nyla bones and antlers. She will bark when someone comes to the door and she sees things in the yard. She is housebroken and knows some basic commands. Susie is not good with cats. She is an active dog but calms down in the house. Susie would love a fenced in yard to play in. She will bark at things she sees when outside in the yard. She would not be good in an apartment. If you are interested in Susie fill out an application. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Meet Sandy — your future adventure buddy with a heart of gold!Sandy is a beautiful two-year-old Australian Shepard who is as sweet as she is smart. True to her breed, she’s intelligent, eager to please, and already fairly well trained. She knows her basic commands and thrives when she has structure, making her a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a clever, responsive pup. This girl definitely has energy! Sandy would love an active home where she can stretch her legs, go on hikes, play fetch, or even try agility or herding activities. Story
Charlie is a girl who is 4 years old. Unfortunately we are choosing to rehome her because she needs a home where she can have a lot of attention and time being spent with her and we can not give her that anymore due to us welcoming a second baby into our home. She is a great dog and would do great with any family!
