Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

And ideal home for them would include adults or family with older, respectful children, a home with a fenced in yard, someone familiar with or willing to learn learn about about hurting breeds, and no cats or small animals. They can be adopted separately or together.

I adopted Knox from a shelter about 9 months ago. He is a sweet, loyal, and playful dog. He gets along with most people but has intermittent reactivity with new people. He has been good with other dogs and goes to a dog sitters house. I am looking for rehoming because I live in a city apartment and have had difficulty with his reactivity to new people. Knox and I have been to dog training classes and he knows most basic commands including sit, down, heel, paw. He is house trained and crate trained. He would do best in a more rural location where he can run around and play. He would also do best with an experienced owner that can work on his reactivity and continue his training. He has not been around many children so I do not know how he does with them.

I got Millie from a breeder in 2020. She is 6 years old. I’m looking for someone who simply has time andpatience. Millie is a very sweet dog but she is reactive and shy. She’s never been aggressive/bitten but will bark and growl until she knows you. She’s had group training, one on one training, and I trained her myself but it never fixed her reactive issues. I recently had a baby and my living situation has changed and I can no longer provide for her. She’s not getting the life she deserves. She’s very loving, energized, clingy, and curious.
