Luna is a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog/Australian Shepherd mix 65 weighing pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender. Luna is a friendly and happy girl! She has a lot of energy and doesn't realize her own size. She's playful, enjoys all toys & playing fetch. She has separation anxiety which means she does not do well when left alone. She would thrive in an active home that can spend lots of time with her and provide an outlet for her energy. Housebroken and crate trained. Great with baths. Will chew on shoes if given the opportunity and when left alone. Can be fearful of men with loud voices.Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! Loki is a very active and fun dog. And knows basic commands; hard for him to sit long. He is way to playful for our 9yr pug and 15 yr okd cat. My son wanted Loki, but ended up not having time to really spend with him. We have tried having him in our home, but just to crazy with our older animals. We have taken him to a dog park and hasn't done well there, but better training maybe be OK. He did take a few months to get use to us. He is crate trained, but we use it when we are not at home, because he does like to find things to tear up. He sleeps on our bed at night and does well through the night. Overall, he is a good dog, just needs someone that is active and can doing better training with him. He loves to play ball, makes good ice breaker to get to know him.
