My husband kept treats in his pocket and she stopped being timid of him within a few days. She is a great dog other than human resource guarding that she can still be broke of. We don’t have the time or the energy. Irwin has been with us for a little over a year now. We have been working on some behavioral issues, getting him ready for a forever home. We believe that Irwin is ready to find a home with someone or a family experienced with Border Collies, Aussies or another herding breed. Irwin has lots of energy and needs to have a purpose, a job or anything that keeps him busy. Irwin would not do well with apartment living. He needs his space to be Irwin. Irwin is VERY selective on the dogs he likes and will not do well in a home with cats. If you are interested in meeting this handsome boy and speaking to our staff that has been working with him, please fill out an online application. Once the application is approved, we will contact you to schedule a visit.
