Story
Saint is a 2 year old Labrador retriever/ Australian Shepherd mix who found himself in a Louisiana shelter after being seized from a cruelty case in November 2023. Set to be euthanized, ASF rescued him in the final hour. While Saint does not have the typical looks of an Aussie, he certainly shares the typical Aussie energy, herding instincts, and affectionate disposition. Also, the signature chilling blue eyes. Unfortunately, Saint also had heart worm disease. After several months of medical care and strict crate rest Saint is ready to find his forever home! Saint’s current foster family, located in Pittsburgh, Pa, adores him. He is super cuddly and loves to play with his foster brother. Saint is house trained, crate trained, and must be in a cat free home. Saint can’t wait to meet you! If Saint sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Sheriff is a 4.5 month old beautiful, loving, and curious Black-Tri standard male Aussie. Sheriff and his 3 brothers were born on a farm as an accidental litter, so before they came into foster homes, they didn't know much about living indoors. In the short few weeks that he's been living with his foster families, Sheriff is learning to be a wonderful house puppy! Sheriff loves to love and be loved: running to you and wagging his tail if you call his name, greeting you after his nap, or wanting to sit on your lap and cuddle when you’re nearby. While he is sleeping through the night, Sheriff is having some intermittent anxiety about sleeping in his crate. He prefers to not spend the night in his crate and instead on the floor nearby the bed. He's still a bit spooked by going up and down stairs, but in the meantime, he doesn't mind getting a lift from his foster human when he needs it. Indoor stairs aside, he’s a very confident puppy willing to try new things. Sheriff is easygoing and social – excited to interact with other dogs, has met children and done very well with them, but like your typical Aussie, keeps a close eye on his humans and prefers to be close by to them. And like any puppy, would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and overall rules and structure in his new home. Sheriff would thrive in a home with humans that are looking for a devoted Aussie companion and will put in the work to make him the best dog he can be. He would welcome a home with other dogs (although he'd also do fine solo), would be fine with dog-savvy kids who want to be involved in his training, and will need further socialization to build his confidence and make him a well-rounded doggie citizen. If Sheriff seems like he would be the perfect fit for your home, apply to meet him soon! Sheriff is fostered in Pittsburgh, PA. Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family and $50 REFUNDABLE neuter deposit that will be refunded upon proof of procedure.

Story
This is Sampson! He is a Mini Aussie, and he’s 2.5 years old. He’s a little ball of energy, and he loves to run around and play with other dogs. During the summer, he enjoys playing in water and small pools. He’s also a very sweet boy who likes to cuddle, and he’s a quick learner. He does get a little nervous on car rides and can get motion sick, and he can be very talkative at times, especially at the vet. He hasn’t been around cats or kids very much, but he’s very sweet and should adjust very well to being around children. He’s looking for a loving home who can give him lots of exercise and attention.

Story
This is Sadie, and she is 2.5 years old! She’s a little cuddle bug who loves to be the center of attention. She plays nice with other dogs, but she gets nervous easily around bigger dogs due to her small stature. Once she feels comfortable though, she’ll fit in with any dog. She loves to be outside and bathe in the sun, and she likes to play fetch! She’s very sweet at the vet and is submissive when she feels vulnerable. Her regular vaccinations just expired, so she is due for her next round of shots. Due to finances, I have not been able to get this done yet. She’s looking for an attentive, loving home who can give her plenty of affection and outside fun!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Felicia - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Felicia, hey, hey all you fabulous people out there, they are talking about me. And I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! Mom, me and my siblings were dumped in a rural area along side a busy highway. Scared to death we took refuge in an abandoned house to try to brave the elements. Some neighbors noticed us and came to give us food and water and they called this wonderful rescue. The first few months of my young life was not so great, but I'm learning. I'm learning that not all people are bad and that pets and kind words are kinda really nice. I is now ready to start this next chapter in life with a family that will have lots of patience, treats and gentle pets so I can give back lots of puppy kisses and tail wags!! I'm just a baby yet at only around 5months. I am a tad bit shy but I does have a really sweet nature that does love to run around and play with toys and my siblings, so to set me up for success I will need a quieter home without smaller children (I should do ok with older kiddos) but that has a playful '4 legged sibling' for me to follow around and take my ques from. I do really well with the other foster pups here at the rescue from the big ones to the small ones. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet but with proper introductions at my young age, I should do fine with them too! Mom's DNA was tested and is an Aussie/Border Collie/ Pyrenees mix and dad was a traveling salespup sweet talking his way through town! I will probably be around 50 - 60 lb area when I get myself fully growed up. I want to be sooooo ready to be that lil heartbeat at your feet, and with a little time and a lot of love, I know I'll be there. So, if you think you can help me be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org This lil family includes - Felicia, Farkle. Fergus and Bananas
