Story
Rescued from a difficult living situation, Mama Daisy and her seven puppies were lovingly relinquished to safety. The girls are thriving in another foster home, while the four handsome boys — Pepper, Jack, Colby, and Gouda — are soaking up all the love in theirs. These sweet 8-week-old brothers absolutely adore being held and cuddled. Each one has stunning brown-green eyes that seem to change color with the light, giving them an extra touch of charm. They’re not just adorable — they’re smart and well-mannered, too! All four boys already know how to sit and wait, and they are incredibly gentle when taking treats. The Cheese Brothers are doing wonderfully with potty training and proudly look forward to earning a treat when they come back inside. They’re fully crate trained, head to bed around 10 p.m., and sleep soundly through the night. In the morning, their fosters wake them up, take them outside for a potty break, and serve up breakfast to start their day. These boys are the perfect blend of sweet, snuggly, and well-behaved — ready to bring love, laughter, and a little cheesy charm to their forever homes. Gouda is the most outgoing of the bunch and brings energy and joy wherever he goes. He’s always the first to run to his fosters, greeting them with enthusiastic tail wags and pure puppy excitement. Even with all that energy, he’s a great listener and happily sits when asked, eager to please. He loves being close to his fosters and is never happier than when he’s curled up on the couch soaking in snuggles. Gouda adores every toy he can get his paws on and is usually the one convincing his brothers to join in on the fun. When it’s mealtime, Gouda proudly makes the announcement — he’s not shy about using his voice to let everyone know it’s time to eat! One of his most unique features is the lightning bolt marking on his back, affectionately nicknamed his “power pack” by his fosters. Despite his playful spark, the moment he’s picked up, he melts into calm, cuddly sweetness and is instantly ready for snuggles. Neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, he is available for adoption 3/3/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.  ##2671820##

These boys are the perfect blend of sweet, snuggly, and well-behaved — ready to bring love, laughter, and a little cheesy charm to their forever homes. Colby may be the smallest of the brothers at 8lbs, but he has the sweetest, most tender heart. He’s also the shyest, quietly observing the world around him and following his fosters wherever they go. Rather than running up for attention, Colby patiently waits to be picked up — and once he’s in your arms, he melts into the coziest snuggles. He loves lounging on the couch and watching TV, happiest when he’s close to his people. Colby will happily play with soft toys, especially when things stay calm and gentle, as he’s still building confidence and coming out of his shell. He absolutely adores giving and receiving kisses and shows his affection in the most heartwarming ways. Don’t let his shy nature fool you — Colby is the smartest of the bunch and is excelling in his training. He’s often the first to head outside and is doing wonderfully with potty training. This sweet boy just needs patient, loving home to help him continue to blossom into the confident companion he’s meant to be. Neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, he is available for adoption 3/3/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.  ##2671821##

Story
Acai is a 2-month-old, 10-pound sweetheart believed to be an Aussie mix. She’s already working hard on her house training, crate training, and leash skills, and she’s doing wonderfully for her age. She enjoys car rides and is happiest in a calmer environment, as loud noises and lots of commotion can make her uneasy. Acai is currently fostered with other dogs, cats, and children, and she has been respectful with all of them. With continued proper training and guidance, she should continue to thrive in a multi-pet or family home. Like many herding breeds, Acai is smart, active, and eager to learn. She’ll do best with a committed family who can keep up with her energy and provide ongoing puppy training. She will need at least 1–2+ hours of daily exercise, plenty of mental stimulation through training or “jobs,” and consistent socialization to help her grow into a confident, well-mannered companion and prevent unwanted behaviors such as nipping or separation anxiety.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and will be available for adoption 3/8/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144 KL# 16182. ##2673231##

These boys are the perfect blend of sweet, snuggly, and well-behaved — ready to bring love, laughter, and a little cheesy charm to their forever homes. Jack is a showstopper with one of the most beautiful little faces you’ve ever seen. His coloring is perfectly split down the middle — one side red, the other white — making him truly one of a kind. This sweet boy loves to run, play, and be the center of attention. Whether he’s romping around outside or wrestling with his brothers, Jack brings fun and energy wherever he goes. He’s the second largest of the puppies, but don’t let his size fool you — he’s a total lovebug. Jack is always the first to run to his fosters for snuggles. He adores being held, happily gives and receives kisses, and even “talks” to his fosters while they’re playing with him. With his playful personality and affectionate heart, Jack is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet. Neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, he is available for adoption 3/3/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.  ##2671822##

Pepper is the largest puppy in his litter at 10lbs and the only one with striking black fur blended into his rich red coat. He’s a playful boy who enjoys a good game of tug-of-war with his brothers, but when playtime is over, he’s happiest curled up on the couch with his fosters. Pepper is a true snuggle bug who melts for nose kisses and loves soaking up all the affection he can get. Outdoors, he has a blast running around the fenced yard with his favorite soft toys. He’s usually the first to roll in the mud, embracing every bit of puppy fun — and despite his messy adventures, he absolutely loves the water. Pepper is the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet, cuddly charm. Neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, he is available for adoption 3/3/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.  ##2671811##

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌸🐾 Meet Patches — Nearly 9 Years of Pure, Gentle Devotion 🐾🌸 8 years old (Birthday 4/24/17) • ~30 lbs Patches is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the loudest in the room to be the most special. As she approaches her 9th birthday, she carries herself with the quiet confidence of a girl who knows exactly what she likes in life: A comfy couch. A warm lap (or at least a leg to lean on). And her person nearby. At around 30 pounds, Patches is the perfect “just right” size — big enough to feel substantial when she curls up beside you, small enough to fit perfectly tucked against your side. She is mostly a lap dog… or at least a “pressed firmly against your hip” dog. Personal space? Optional. Warmth and love? Required. She’s fully house trained, has lovely house manners, and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. She’s been living in a home environment and fits right in like she’s always belonged there. Cats don’t bother her one bit — she’s far too dignified to get caught up in that drama. While she doesn’t spend her days bouncing around with toys or leading playgroups, that’s simply because Patches has mastered the art of peaceful companionship. She prefers quality cuddle time over chaos. She’s less “zoomies” and more “let’s sit together and solve the world’s problems.” Given her incredibly sweet and gentle nature, we believe she would do just fine with kind, respectful kiddos who understand that sometimes the best dogs are the calm, snuggly ones. Patches is at that beautiful stage of life where she’s past the puppy antics but still has so much love left to give. She gets excited when you come home, happily settles beside you on the couch, and simply wants to be near her person. No drama. No destruction. Just steady, loyal companionship. If you’re looking for: • A couch buddy • A lap warmer • A loyal shadow • A professional snuggler • A dog who believes every evening should end with cuddles Patches might just be your perfect match. She’s not asking for grand adventures or marathon hikes. She’s asking for love. For consistency. For a soft place to land for her golden years. And in return? She’ll give you the kind of quiet devotion that makes a house feel like home. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Patches the cozy, love-filled forever she so deserves 💛🐾
