Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! She is mixed with Pittbull, Australian Shepard, and Straffordshire Terrier with all the fun, curiosity, and enthusiasm you'd expect from a young pup. She's doing a wonderful job learning the ropes and is picking up new tricks quickly. Tabby does great in her crate, is making excellent progress with her potty training, and walks pretty well on a leash for her age. Like any puppy, Tabby has plenty of playful energy and loves keeping herself entertained with toys. She would do well with a canine companion who doesn't mind her puppy antics and could help burn off some of that youthful energy. However, she could also thrive as an only dog, happily playing with her toys and soaking up attention from her people. Tabby is a sweet, energetic girl who is eager to learn and ready to continue growing into an amazing companion. She does good with children. She has not been around cats, but should be perfectly fine as she is a puppy and still has lots of time to learn.
