Story
Heartworm Preventative: 13th of every month Flea and Tick: 13th of every month Yoshi likes women best. Yoshi is very leary of men, he needs several introductions to new men in his life to know he can trust them. Most women he meets he makes up with after a short time, some he likes immediately. He was treated roughly by a small child and father. He will not be adopted out to a family with children as that would not be fair to the children or Yoshi. Active and likes to play. Very smart. Loves attention from those that he trusts. He gets along with all of us here at Orphans even the men, but he needed time to get to know you. NEEDS AN ADOPTER WITH AUSSIE EXPERIENCE AND FENCED IN YARD. Bite History: Prior history to coming to us. 2 bites. 1. child, 2. neighbor. 10/15/2023 a Volunteer PA 1137

Story
Snoopy is a handsome, intelligent, 4-year-old hound/Australian shepherd mix that is ready for a proper home environment to settle into. He is a bit timid and cautious with new people at first, but turns into a very sweet boy when he warms up to you. He spent most of his life thus far living outside and is in need of some more consistent socialization. Given his breed, snoopy would also thrive with an active family that can give him a lot of TLC as he learns to socialize properly and mature. He is a very smart and intelligent dog, and despite the fact that he lived mostly outside, he is already house-trained. If given the time, Snoopy would likely learn to get along with a dog his size in a home environment as well. He is not compatible with cats. Do you think you can provide Snoopy with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. You can also visit https://www.fourfootedfriends.org/ for more information on our organization and other pets we have available for adoption. Story
Woodstock is an Australian Shepherd/hound mix who is ready for a proper home environment to settle into and learn/grow in. He has spent his entire life thus far living outdoors without much opportunity to socialize with people or other animals. As a result, he is very timid with people at the moment and will need a loving and patient owner who is willing to help him learn, mature, and socialize. He needs to build up confidence in that process. When out of the kennel environment Woodstock can be a very friendly with his handlers and he walks really well on a leash. He has lived with another dog before and would be happy to have another doggie friend in the home as well. He is not compatible with cats, and despite living outdoors, he is house-trained. Do you think you can provide Woodstock with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. Story
Hello there. I’m being called Aiden these days. I’m an older guy, somewhere around 8-10. I’ve had a lot of names, but this one suits me just fine. I’ll respond to it if you holler it loudly enough for my old ears. I’m pretty good at watching for signals, too. Attentive, they say. I like people in general, but I'm known to have favorites, and I’ll follow them anywhere, even with these sore hips. I can do stairs if I have to since they started me on medication, but I’d really love to just be able to walk outside and enjoy a fenced in yard at my leisure. I’m not big on playing with other dogs, but I don’t mind their company after some getting used to them. Once they know to stay out of my face, I’m content enough to lay beside them. This is why I like cats. They seem to feel the same way as I do. Don’t bother me, I won’t bother you. I correct younger dogs kind of loudly. But, I figure – if I do it seriously enough the first time, I won’t have to say it again. I have two fur foster siblings where I am now, and we’ve come to understand each other. I live with two little humans, ages 6 and 3, so my foster parents have learned that I like kids a lot, but with my arthritis I can be a little grumpy and growly, so I need my hairless siblings to know to be careful. Older kids seem to get it. I can get a little over protective of the smaller ones. I’m a herding breed, after all. I’m housebroken, but while I was a stray, I developed a habit of marking that I’m still trying to break, and sometimes I have accidents. I’m good about wearing a belly band, though it’s a little embarrassing to admit I need one.  It’s been hard getting older. Things aren’t like they used to be. But, I’d really like to find love again and spend the rest of my life somewhere warm and safe. If you have room for an old guy like me to rest his head, I won’t be much of a bother. I love being outside. I like taking walks. Car rides are the best! And I really like taking naps. Now and then, I’ll even roll a ball around by myself. I had to get used to being alone. But, I don’t really want to be alone anymore. Do you? ##1868332##

Story
Bradey is an adorable Aussie pup with a big heart. He's so smart and very eager to learn whenever there's treats involved. This little guy loves playtime, cuddles, and exploring the world. He's working on basic commands and house/crate training and is picking things up quickly. I'm rehoming him because just days after his adoption I experienced a loss so I'm going to have to be flying in and out of state for a couple months. He needs someone who will be with him consistently especially in his puppy months. Ideal Home for Bradey: Active family or individual with time for training, exercise, and mental stimulation. A home with a fenced-in yard for safe playtime would be a bonus. A loving environment where Bradey can be a cherished member of the family. Adoption Details: I have all the AKC paperwork from his adoption along with health records. Comes with his crate, treats, toys, and dog bed.
