Story
Trixie came to us with a litter of puppies. All of her puppies were adopted. Trixie needs a home who could provide her with a lot of activities. She is a dog that needs to be kept engaged, ex: Agility classes, enrichment activites. She does have a small prey drive and can jump/climb any height of fencing. She is a very smart dog and would not do well in a home left long hours by herself. Would prefer a border collie experienced home.

Story
Nala is a 6 year old border collie mix. She is around 80 pounds. She is high energy and loving once she gets to know someone. She does suffer with anxiety around strangers, so it may require a couple meetings before she is fully comfortable. Once she gets to know someone, she is their best friend for life. Nala knows commands like sit, down, spin, paw, speak, and leave it. She loves tennis balls, playing fetch, and getting treats. Nala also loves a good nap, and has no problem with being left alone. She is spayed and housebroken. My best hope for her is she finds a loving and understanding home where she can have the life she deserves. I am looking to transition her to a new home by May 28th 2025. We could arrange a couple meetings prior to then to get her acclimated and happy.

Story
Otto is a loving, sweet, eager to please, high energy 1.25 year old border collie. He lives with two other dogs (a border collie and an Australian shepherd) and his high energy can be off-putting to them. He also wants to be the #1 son, and doesn’t like when they get attention (he is not aggressive, he just gets in the way). We have seen how he can be almost the perfect dog when it is just him, so he’d probably be best as an only dog (or have extremely chill dog siblings). He would also greatly benefit from having a human who runs or hikes regularly and can give him the exercise he needs. He has great name recall and is so eager to please and be with you that when you call he is there instantly. Will snuggle and be velcro to his people — so so so much love. We have a cat too, who he wishes would love him (but doesn’t). He has not been around kids but would probably be great. He has never been aggressive and is crate trained and so smart. He deserves the best!!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Clyde - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous people out there, let me introduce myself. I'm Clyde and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am an awesome medium sized bundle of joy! I’m a very loving fella that would love a family where I can tag-a-long whenever it may be you're going. At around 34lbs I'm small enough I don't take up much room in the car, on the couch or on the bed!! I’m a really sweet boy and would love to have the chance to be YOURS!! I am that velcro pup that is happiest if I can be as close as possible. You need never fear going anywhere all by yourself especially that notoriously scary bathroom!! 🥰 I'm about 2 and a half years old and that perfectly pawsome size for ALL adventures, from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting! I'm gonna have a blast doing them with you whether it's a leisurely neighborhood stroll, hiking those nature trails, sleeping on the ground on camping trips, co-piloting errands runs or just chillin in the yard supervising yard work. I am a social boy that loves his people both tall and small and I do great with all the other pups here at my foster home but I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat. I am not yet house broke but I am working on it. I'm getting better each day but I may need some continued guidance in that department. I'm such a good boy that I'll have it mastered in no time! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness and be that lil heartbeat at your feet. So, if you think I could be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
🐾 Meet Arlo! 🐾 Arlo is a lovable 3-year-old Border Collie mix (born July 11, 2021) who lives for fetch & balls are his absolute favorite! He's full of energy, super smart, and thrives with outdoor adventures like long walks, hikes. On weekends when he's active he is calm and happy, but during the week, his family's long work hours mean he doesn't get the activity he needs, leading to some restlessness and mild destruction at home or in his crate. He's independent but sweet, loves to sleep nearby (or steal your spot), and bonds deeply with his people. Arlo tested positive for Lymes, but it was caught early and won't impact his life. He also has storm anxiety and is currently on medication to help. Arlo's ideal family is one on a farm, an active person with a yard to run or family who can keep up with his adventurous spirit. He's ready to love, play, and thrive in his forever home. Could it be with you?
