Story
Cowboy is a smart, active, and loyal 4-year-old Australian Shepherd looking for his perfect home. He loves fetch, walks, and would thrive with an active owner and a big fenced yard. It breaks my heart to rehome him, but Cowboy isn’t a fit for a home with young children. He has shown discomfort around kids and has a history of nipping, so he’ll do best in an adults-only household or with older, respectful teens. Cowboy prefers to meet new people and dogs on his own terms—he’s not instantly friendly if approached directly, but once he warms up he’s loving and playful. Cowboy is due for his yearly vaccinations but is otherwise healthy and ready for his next adventure. With the right home, he’ll give back loyalty, fun, and plenty of love.

Story
Max is a purebred Australian Shepherd, approximately 18 months old. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. We adopted Max one year ago as a companion for our other dog. We got him when he was 6mo old from a young couple who were rehoming him due to relocating. We love Max very much, and he is the sweetest, most loving boy! We are sad to let him go, but in the last year, I have realized that he needs more dedicated personal attention and space than I can give him. I am a single parent of 3, I work full-time as well as 2 side part-time jobs. My home conducive to his size and energy level. Max is a working dog and needs to have lots of interaction and personal attention to thrive. He is high energy, loves other dogs, people and kids. He is eager to please and very smart. Has been trained, but I have not kept up with it consistently and he will need refreshing. Behavior issues are mainly jumping/chewing - typical puppy behavior fixed with time/training.

Story
Meet Bella, a bouncy, lovable gal who is eager to play and shower you with affection. Bella needs another dog to hang with, and highly preferable that that dog also likes to run and play. Bella is working on leash manners and is eager to please. She is crate trained and well in the car and with Kids. She has never met a stranger and loves to go on adventures. She has done well with dog savvy cats and does not have any issue with smaller dogs and does not seem to have prey drive.

Story
We got Maggie when she was 17 weeks old. I took her to the vet, she was up to date on her vaccines and on heartworm and flea prevention until August of this year, 2025. She had to hsve a complete hysterectomy when she was spayed. She was 36 lbs at the vet appointment. She is very smart and likes doing tricks for her treats. She does well inside. I have a spinal cord injury, and can't take her for runs like she needs and she goes out of the yard and I don't want her to get hit by a car or the neighbor on one side of us to shoot her. She loves the kids and has always been gentle even when they step on her by accident. She loves to play, but can be protective of her food if children mess with her when eating. She turned 4 Oct 18.

Story
Meet Maple! 🍁 This sweet girl is as loving as they come. She adores playing with rope toys and had a blast running around before coming inside. Maple is great with other dogs and has several play buddies here at the shelter. She’s an obedient girl who’s eager to do anything by your side. While she does pull a bit on the leash, she responds really well to gentle corrections and is quick to learn. Maple would do best in a home that can handle her medium energy and give her plenty of playtime and attention. Come meet her!
