Story
Are you looking for a dog who could also be confused for a teddy bear? Rocky or his brother Beau might be a good fit for you. These fluffy brothers lived the first part of their lives as outside dogs and are looking for homes that will be patient with them while they learn basic doggie manners and how to walk on a leash. They seem to do well with other dogs, but will need to be fed separately. They are slightly timid when meeting new people, but love cuddling, treats, and playing with toys. For $75, you can welcome one of these sweet boys into your home. They have been neutered, microchipped, and are current on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. Please note-all New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor with supervised playtime outside only.

Story
Meet Fillie -- one of the "Rhyming Litter" puppies! Mama Millie and her 8 tiny babies were found under a porch and taken to animal control when the babies were only 1-2 days old. We are so thankful someone took them in so animal control could reach out to rescues for help. JoJo's took mama and babies in when they were about 5 days old. At the time, all babies were indistinct little black and white looking piles of fur – but over the next several weeks all of them blossomed into beautiful puppies. Mama Millie is 35 lbs and appears to be possibly a Heeler/Beagle cross. By the looks of the puppies as they are growing up, we're thinking dad may have been an Australian Shepherd or some mix of that. The puppies are growing at less than a pound a week, so it looks like they will probably end up about the size of their mama – maybe 30-40 lbs when full grown. All of the puppies are healthy and getting very playful. They are smart little cookies too – at only six weeks they are all using the doggy door almost all of the time to do their pottying, so they will go to their new homes with a great jump start on house training. From only five days old – before their eyes were open – the puppies have been getting lots of love and human attention, and they also have a wonderful mama who has been taking great care of them. If you want a sweet, playful, affectionate addition to your home, you'll want to meet these adorable pups! The puppies will be 8 weeks old and ready to go home on May 18th. We are taking applications and arranging meet and greets now in hopes that they will have homes to go to when they are old enough. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!
