Me and my twin brother rescued this pup from a broken home. With lots of travel and living in an apartment this dog has a lot of energy and truly needs a place to stay with just more attention. The dog is great, crate trained, typically puppy and honestly have fallen in love with Maverick. He gets along with other dogs and having others would be great. Gizmo came into our lives about 3 weeks ago. Little buddy was wandering in front of our neighborhood Publix covered in fleas and ticks with no collar or leash looking for someone to love. I asked the staff if anyone knew where or who he belonged to but no one had a clue. Giz has been staying with us temporarily since January 8 and he's been updated on his shots, heartworm negative, and been treated for fleas, ticks, and the tapeworm he had. Gizmo is an anxious chewer and if left unattended or underwhelmed he will absolutely chew whatever he can get his paws on. With that being said we've gifted him many toys, bully sticks, and chews...he goes through them quick. Through enrichment we've been able to mitigate a lot of his destructive behavior. He is an energetic boy that requires at LEAST 90 minutes of stimulation. He loves playing fetch, tug, and chase with our other dog. This 1yr old deserves a home that can give him dedicated time and attention with patience and understanding.
