Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Alice, the 9-month-old Aussie mix who walks into a room and instantly makes it a better place to be! This 30-pound bundle of pure joy has a go-lucky attitude that is absolutely contagious, and even her foster home's grumpy old dog can't resist joining in when Alice is ready to play. She loves everyone and approaches every single day like it is the greatest day that has ever happened. Alice knows commands like sit and come, is housetrained, and settles quickly in her crate after a brief protest. She is super smart and picks up new things fast, so her future family is going to have a blast teaching her everything she is capable of learning. She already loves going on walks, playing fetch, wrestling, racing around the yard, and chasing squirrels. She is working on her leash manners but likes to bark her commentary along the way. She's an absolute angel in the car. She does have an old injury impairing the vision in her right eye that her new family will want to monitor, but it certainly has not slowed this girl down even one tiny bit. Alice would thrive with an active family who loves long walks, hikes, and playtime, whether that means kids to romp with, a dog friend to wrestle with, or an adventurous human who wants a cheerful and devoted sidekick. She has a wonderful off switch too and is just as happy snuggling close to her person after a big day out. Truly, it is very hard to imagine anyone meeting Alice and not falling completely in love. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If you have ever wanted a dog who is equal parts stunning and sweet, meet Hershey, a two-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a breathtaking chocolate merle coat that turns heads everywhere she goes! This 52-pound girl is gentle, athletic, and affectionate, and she has absolutely decided that, despite her size, she qualifies as a lap dog and would like to be treated accordingly. Hershey is well housetrained, quietly crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash and rides calmly in the car. She knows sit, loves a good game of fetch, and will happily chase a ball or snuggle with a stuffed toy when she is not busy running zoomies in a fenced yard. She takes a few minutes to warm up to new people and situations, but once she does she is all in, gentle and loving with everyone including, as recently proven, a one year old baby who got some very sweet and careful attention from this good girl. Hershey did have an injured eye removed, but since that eye had already lost vision she has adjusted beautifully and it has not slowed her down one bit. She is athletic, confident, and moves through the world with quiet grace. She does have a watchdog bark, so fair warning to anyone who rings the doorbell. She is not recommended for homes with goats or cattle, and a quieter rural environment away from loud noises would suit her sensitive ears well. Hershey is ready for a loving home with a fenced yard, daily walks, and a family generous with the snuggles. She has so much sweetness to offer and is simply waiting for the right people to shower it on. To learn more about Hershey, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Farrah, a beautiful 8-month-old Australian Shepherd/Hound mix who’s been on an incredible journey. She came from a very difficult environment with little to no socialization and was once semi-feral. Thanks to months of patience and gentle guidance, Farrah is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She’s still timid with new people and unfamiliar situations, but she’s making wonderful progress in her foster home. She’s begun exploring the outdoors, the neighborhood, and what it means to live in a home where she’s safe and loved. Each day, her confidence grows. Farrah's sweet personality is starting to shine—she’s playful, affectionate, and loves to snuggle up on the couch. She also enjoys being around other dogs, who help boost her confidence and show her the ropes. She’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who will continue to support her as she blossoms. With time, love, and encouragement, she’s sure to become a devoted and loving companion. Having a doggy sibling would be a bonus for Farrah!

Story
Junebug is a sweet, loving, and playful girl who is getting her long-overdue second chance at life. She previously lived on a chain, but she’s quickly embracing the comforts of being a beloved companion. She’s is potty trained and is learning her house manners, and she walks nicely on a leash. She is such a smart girl and is very teachable. Junebug seems to enjoy people of all ages, including children, though her playful energy may be a bit much for very small kids. Junebug does well with other dogs but may show some assertive behavior, so proper introductions are important. She has not been cat tested. A meet and greet is required prior to adoption to ensure a great match. She is up to date on vaccines, preventatives and is spayed. Junebug is ready to find a loving home where she can finally enjoy the life she deserves.
