Story
Britt is a sweet girl who is looking for her forever home. We expect she will be medium / large sized when full grown and we are just guessing on possible breeds. These pups have known nothing but love and would be a great addition to any family. A physically fenced yard is required due to her being a puppy to keep her safe. She is still a puppy and will need to work on potty and leash training and would do best with children over 8 years old. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, preventions and microchipped. She is very outgoing and loves her other doggy friends. Britt will be ready to join her new family after December 10th just in time for the holidays! If you think you are the right family or person for Britt, please fill out our adoption application on our website at www.safehaventn.com . We are happy to set up a meet and greet for the approved application. Her adoption fee is $300 (if being picked up in TN) and she is being fostered in middle TN. Please contact us for out of state adoption information.

Story
This dog is in the Nashville, Tennessee area.  Meet Birdie, a gorgeous Chocolate Lab/Aussie mix with a big smile, a happy tail, and the sweetest soul. Birdie is about 4 years old and 67 pounds. This beautiful girl is fully housetrained. Birdie is the ultimate “Velcro dog”—she wants nothing more than to be by your side during the day and curled at the foot of your bed at night. With her kind eyes, affectionate nature, and eagerness to please, she quickly wins hearts wherever she goes. At just the right mix of smart and spirited, Birdie thrives on both love and activity. She has a high energy level, but her exercise needs can be met with a couple of good outings a day. She’s incredibly intelligent, already knowing sit, shake, lay down, roll over, stay, and even recall. She can run a basic agility course and is always eager to learn new tricks, especially if it means quality time with her person. Despite her energy, she also knows how to settle down and will happily rest at your feet after a good day’s play. Birdie has a playful side that shines when she’s chasing critters or exploring outside, and she’d be happiest in a home where she can safely enjoy off-leash time with her person nearby. She loves kids she knows and does wonderfully with cats, making her a great companion for the right family. While she can be wary of strangers and nervous around other dogs, her loyalty and devotion to her family are unmatched. This sweet girl would thrive in a home with space to run and explore, ideally with access to nature where she can indulge her love of chasing and then return indoors to snuggle. Birdie is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless companionship to her forever family. Interested? Apply to adopt Birdie, today!  Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 24, 2025, 1:47 pm
