Story
Update: She is in the process of being adopted ... whoo hooo! You all are missing out on a wonderfully sweet and smart dog. Rosalina is a sweet girl who is looking for her forever home. We expect she will be medium / large sized when full grown and we are just guessing on possible breeds. She has known nothing but love and would be a great addition to any family. A physically fenced yard is required due to her being a puppy to keep her safe. She is still a puppy and will need to work on potty and leash training and would do best with children over 8 years old. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, preventions and microchipped. She can be a bit shy at first but will warm up and loves her other doggy friends. She would do best in a home with another dog as a companion. If you think you are the right family or person for Rosalina, please fill out our adoption application on our website at www.safehaventn.com . We are happy to set up a meet and greet for the approved application. Her adoption fee is $300 (if being picked up in TN) and she is being fostered in middle TN. Please contact us for out of state adoption information.

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Freya is a gentle, soulful girl whose quiet bravery shows in the sweetest little ways. This 3.5-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd weighs 26 pounds and has beautiful blue merle fur, a thoughtful expression, and a moderate energy level that fits nicely into a peaceful routine. Freya is very much a dog’s dog and takes comfort in the company of other pups. She enjoys walks, light hikes, and running around a securely fenced yard with her dog friends, and it is adorable to watch her instinctively bark and herd everyone out the door for yard time. She loves chew toys, happily de-stuffs plush toys, and feels safest relaxing in her crate, which she considers her cozy retreat. Freya is housetrained, crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows cues like outside and kennel. While she is very timid with people, it is incredibly heartwarming when she gathers the courage to take treats or allow a quick head pet. In her past, Freya escaped from her home and was hit by a car, resulting in a broken pelvis and a dislocated leg. She underwent surgery and has since made a full recovery, moving comfortably and enjoying her daily activities without issue. She does well with other dogs and cats and would do best in an adult-only home where things are calm, predictable, and respectful of her space. A quiet household with a securely fenced yard and at least one friendly dog companion is what she needs. She needs someone who will accept her exactly as she is - a shy girl who wants to hang out with other dogs more than people. If you think Freya could be the perfect companion for your dog and a fun addition to your home, please contact us for more information.  Interested in adopting? Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Luci, a bright, playful young herding breed (Australian Shepherd / Border Collie best guess) mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life! Just over a year old and weighing 29 pounds, Luci has that wonderful “forever puppy” energy that keeps life fun and active. She thrives on movement and interaction, whether she’s happily chasing other dogs in true herder fashion, splashing in the water, tossing around her toys, or heading out on a new adventure with her people. At the same time, she has a wonderfully soft side and absolutely adores snuggling up with her humans when playtime winds down. Luci’s affectionate nature is one of her most endearing traits. She loves being close to her people and enjoys quality cuddle time just as much as a good game of chase. She is very food motivated and already sits beautifully, with “down” coming along as she continues learning, making her a great candidate for further training. She has had no accidents in the house so far and has proven to be a polite pup who only chews on her toys. When it’s time to settle, she will follow a treat into her crate, voice a brief protest, and then relax quietly. This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, birds, kids, and adults alike. She truly seems to love everyone she meets and brings a joyful, friendly energy wherever she goes. On leash, Luci is still learning her manners and can get excited by squirrels, friendly humans, and interesting sticks along the way, and wants to bark at anything with wheels going by, but her eagerness and intelligence make her progress something to look forward to. She rides in the car wanting to stay close to her person, offering a little whining but plenty of companionship. She is healthy, happy and she brings with her all the best qualities of a young, well-adjusted pup. Luci will shine brightest in an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit and herding breed energy. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic companion who will keep you moving, make you laugh, and curl up with you at the end of the day, Luci is ready to be your new best friend.  Interested in adopting?
