Story
Meet Elena Ann! Don't let her deafness fool you—Elena is a bright, beautiful Australian Shepherd with a zest for life! This happy, high-energy girl is everything you love about the breed: intelligent, playful, athletic, and always ready for her next adventure. Elena absolutely loves to play fetch, especially with frisbees, though she'll happily chase a ball now and then too. She's wonderful with other dogs, great with kids, and is both crate trained and housebroken. Because Elena is deaf, she's looking for a home that understands her unique needs. She must have another confident dog in the home to help provide routine and companionship. Having a canine buddy helps her navigate daily life and gives her confidence. She's also learned an impressive nighttime recall—simply blink a flashlight, and she'll happily come running inside! Elena is still learning how to walk on a leash and will need a family committed to continuing her training using positive reinforcement and visual cues. Like any Aussie, she'll thrive with plenty of exercise, mental enrichment, and a job to do. If you're looking for an incredibly smart, loving, and active companion who just experiences the world a little differently, Elena is ready to prove that being deaf doesn't slow her down one bit. She's waiting for the perfect family to give her the forever home she deserves. Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Phantom is a big, sweet, happy-go-lucky boy with the confidence of a professional athlete... and the coordination of someone who just discovered his legs yesterday. He's bigger than all of his puppy roommates and firmly believes he is very fast and extremely agile. We see no reason to ruin that for him. Phantom approaches life with enthusiasm. Somewhere along the way, he learned how to pounce, and it has now become his signature move. See another puppy minding their own business? POUNCE. Wrestling match initiated. He absolutely loves other dogs, although the concept of personal space is still very much a work in progress. It's never rude in Phantom's mind—he's just delighted you're here and assumes you must want 100 pounds of friendship immediately. He's also a certified water baby. Kiddie pool? Absolutely. Water bowl? Close enough. If there's water available, Phantom will find a way to play in it. We have a feeling this boy could grow up to be an excellent lake buddy for a family who loves outdoor adventures. When he's not perfecting his pounce or splashing around, Phantom is preparing for his future career as a very large lapdog. He loves cuddles and has absolutely no intention of letting his eventual size interfere with sitting as close to his people as physically possible. His favorite things include food, toys, food, other dogs, food, cuddles, food, wrestling, food... and, in case we forgot to mention it, FOOD. This boy is highly food motivated, which should come in handy as he continues learning his puppy manners. He's currently working on potty training and is respectful of the cats in his foster home. Phantom is goofy, affectionate, playful, and perpetually happy. If you're looking for a big lovable sidekick who thinks he's graceful, believes every body of water is his personal swimming pool, and will happily clean up any snacks you accidentally drop, Phantom is ready to pounce his way right into your family. Local adoption fee is $350 (in texas) and $650 for out of state adoption fee ( includes transport to your area)

Story
Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $300 (in TX)

Story
Clyde is a happy, playful boy who believes there's simply way too much fun to be had to sit still for very long! He's always ready for the next wrestling match, a good case of the zoomies, or a toy that needs his immediate attention. Other dogs are definitely Clyde's favorite playmates. He absolutely loves his puppy roommates and is happiest right in the middle of whatever they're doing. Whether they're racing around the yard, wrestling, or investigating something new, you can count on Clyde joining the party. He's also been respectful of the cats in his foster home. Clyde enjoys his people too and gets excited when he sees you—he'll happily engage in a little human-versus-puppy wrestling match! He's just not quite as interested in stopping for pets and cuddles as some of his roommates. Right now, playtime wins over snuggle time, and with so much puppy business on his schedule, who can blame him? As he continues getting more individual attention and bonding with his own family, we think there's still plenty of Clyde's personality waiting to unfold. He loves toys, running around outside, and putting those puppy legs to good use. He's currently working on potty training and learning all the other skills that come with growing into a very good boy. Clyde would love a family that appreciates his playful spirit and will give him the time and space to build his relationship with them naturally. And if there's another playful dog in the family? Clyde would probably consider that a pretty fantastic bonus. Local adoption fee is $350 (in texas) and $650 for out of state adoption fee ( includes transport to your area)
