Story
Hi new friends! My name is Gingi. I’m a blue merle Miniature Australian Shepherd, and I’m 8 years old. I consider myself a pretty laid-back kind of guy. I’m not your typical high-energy Aussie — I much prefer lounging around the house and enjoying a really good meal. When I do get a burst of energy, my favorite thing is playing fetch in the backyard. I like the ball thrown a max of five times… then I’m ready for a well-deserved break. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed some joint issues, especially in my hips, so I do best with gentle play and patient walks. I would truly thrive in a calmer home, where I can relax, feel safe, and get the gentle attention I deserve. Recently, my family has grown with toddlers and a baby and the busy, noisy environment has become overwhelming. I do have a medical condition that causes seizures, but they are well managed with medication twice a day. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow companion who loves cozy days I might just be your perfect companion

Story
Fred is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd with a wonderfully polite, curious, and loving personality. He’s playful and bright, always excited to explore and eager to be part of whatever his people are doing. Fred has a high, happy energy level and loves staying active. His favorite things are running, playing fetch, tug of war, and romping with other dogs. He brings enthusiasm to everything he does and is always ready for the next adventure. Fred would thrive in a home with people who can invest consistent time and energy into him. He’s very trainable and eager to please, so an owner who enjoys working with their dog will see him shine. His ideal match is an active household—preferably with a backyard to run in and, even better, another friendly dog to play with. Fred is fully house-trained and knows his basic commands. He’s smart, responsive, and picks up new routines quickly. The only behavior challenge to be aware of is his excitement around other dogs—he may whine or jump.

Story
For sweet Heidi, nothing beats a game of fetch and a snuggle. This young gal loves to sprint around and chase tennis balls - all that's missing is you to cuddle up with! "Heidi is very affectionate and likes to please," says one of her fosters. "She learns quickly and loves to kiss and snuggle!" - Heidi is very inquisitive and likes to sniff and investigate everything she sees. - Her favorite treats are rawhide chip snacks, and all she asks is that you have plenty of those on hand! - Leash-walking is new for Heidi, and she's quickly picking up the skills. She knows heel, sit, come and stay, plus she is fully crate- and house-trained. This quiet, easy-going girl would love to move in with parents who can give her that petting and cuddling she loves and continue her training. Come offer her some snuggles and she'll follow you home!

Story
I adopted Obie a year ago from the Williamson County Animal Shelter, where his name was “Joker.” He’s now a joyful, loving 2-year-old Border Collie mix with the sweetest personality. Obie is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and people-oriented — he loves cuddling, giving kisses, and greeting you with his whole body wagging. He’s also goofy, smart, and playful with that classic collie charm. Obie is housetrained, great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and adjusts well to new routines. He has a lot of energy and would thrive with a family who enjoys walks, playtime, and keeping him mentally active. Inside the home, he’s soft-hearted and calm; outside, he’s adventurous and fun. Obie is a truly special dog who wants to be someone’s loyal best friend. He’d make a wonderful addition to an active home that can give him the love, attention, and structure he deserves.
