Story
Hi, my name is Ash and I am 5 years old! I am originally from Nashville Tennessee, but I love San Antonio Texas and the heat. I’m super playful, I love everyone around me regardless of what they are! I get along wonderfully with kids, and other pets too. I love the outdoors, and I’m very well trained for walks and runs with just people or strollers too. I already know the rules for the house, and I listen very well when it’s time to go to bed in my bed or my crate. I would like to live with a family that has time to play with me and will love me unconditionally like I will love them! If adopted I come with all my shots and some needed basic supplies that you won’t have to spend! Thank you and I can’t wait to go to my forever home!

Story
Callie is an australian sheppard / border collie mix. She's an amazing companion, does NOT bite, chew or dig. Rarely barks, only when something startles her. She is not aggressive in any way, full of love & cuddles. She loves to play fetch w/her ball or frisbee, loves to recieve pets & the occasional doggie treat. She doesn't have a mean bone in her, she's never experienced anything mean in her life & we want to keep it that way. She deserves a loving, stable forever home. It breaks my heart to rehome her but a sudden job relocation to WA state is a necessity. We rescued Callie as a pup only wks old almost 6yrs ago now. She turns 6 Aug 2024. She is utd on all her shots & we just had her groomed at Petsmart last month. We have her shaved to decrease shedding. She has NOT been fixed, never had pups. We currently have a large fenced backyard where Callie enjoys playing fetch to run & stretch her legs but is also mellow enough to come inside, lay down, relax & watch a movie.

Story
Bingo is a very special dog that was adopted in January of 2020 by a beloved volunteer and friend of SNIPSA. As Bingo was passed over for adoption again and again, he found a special friend in SNIPSA’s dog walker, Kalvin. Day after day, week after week, Kalvin and Bingo went on afternoon walks. This special bond blossomed into best buds for life when Kalvin officially adopted Bingo. Devastatingly, Kalvin passed away in early November. While our hearts are broken for a friend lost too soon, we are committed to making sure Bingo finds a new family who can offer him just as much love (and as many walks) as dear Kalvin. A happy and energetic pup with a huge love of fetching toys, Bingo is also an epic cuddle bug! While his bond for his “human” is strong, he will do better as an only pet. This lover boy is eager to please and would make a doting, loyal companion. We are so invested in finding Bingo the right home that we enrolled him in doggy boot camp at Lone Star State K9. He has spent the past few weeks brushing up on his manners so he can be the best boy for his new owners. Bingo means the world to us and we hope he can find a fresh start in 2024. Will you be the one to offer Bingo another chance at happiness?

Story
Ellie aka Eddy is a really smart gal that requires an experienced /working dog owner. She requires a home with a fenced yard. She does like playing with other dogs, but will do best in a home with dogs that allow her to be the boss (heeler breed in her). She will also do best in a home with no children under 12 years of age. She loves her humans unconditionally esp women. She's house trained and knows a variety of commands (sit, stay, shake, lay, outside and kennel). She is an indoor dog and will benefit from daily exercise and comes with $100 gift certificate at the Palms. Taking online applications

Story
Meet Magellan! He had been living on the street for a few months when someone asked if we could take him in. He’s sooooo happy and bouncy! He weighs 51 pounds and is about a year old, still a baby with sparkling white teeth! He is GREAT with the other dogs in the yard and so he is able to run free with the front yard pack. He has a chill disposition and isn’t dominant with the other dogs. Believe it or not, sometimes street dogs can be more well adjusted than a dog that is owner surrendered! He’s probably even good with cats, we can always cat test any dog! Magellan loves to play! He would be a great addition to any home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Story
Hes a grate dog. More for teens than little kids. I’m a single mom of three toddlers and just dont have time or energy that he needs to play with him. Ive moved around a lot and he needs a steady loving home. Hes outside and has lots of energy and is a dirty boy. I dont want this but it’s what’s best for him! He loves food and loves running in circles when someone drives up or leaves and love hugging/ cuddling. He needs attention and training for commands he will sit and shake hands though. Also loves to run so needs a fence. He’s had 2 cat friends and loved them. He needs some cleaning and I just physically cant do. I hope who he ends with someone who will love him and treat him right! Thank you !

Story
There were 9 babies born at our shelter. When we took Momma in we did not know she was about to give birth any day, which she did. There were 7 girls and 2 boys, all are healthy and energetic. Trixie is one of the 3 still available for adoption. The breed guess is random because they all looked so different. Trixie loves to play in water, love toys, is very snuggly, and loves getting belly rubs. She knows "sit" and how to give nose boops with lots of kisses. She would make a great companion for someone. If interested in meeting Trixie email us for an application.

Story
11mo old red Kelpie lookin pup. He is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee can be negotiated but covers his shots, surgery, crate, blankets, no pull lead, harness, leash, and puppy food. I call him Roaver :) Sweet boy was abused and starved when I met him. His breeders abandoned him at the park when he was ~3mo old. I'm guessing he was the last of the litter they tried to make money off of. I told them I would take him to the shelter, but turns out he is too fearful of strange people and places to be placed there, so I am sharing my home with him trying to find his next step. He is learning that people are kind too. He loves dog parks and playing chase/ball and loves bones and squeaking toys. He is happy now but I cannot keep him. My apt has a dog # limit (Ive got my own 2) and he cannot live with a cat (Ive got 1). He is running out of time. He is so sweet, plays with my pups/kids, COMPLETELY ADOPTABLE and protects you. Perfect boy

Story
I acquired Luna at around 10 months from a co-worker., she is a rescue. Luna is currently about 3 years of age. I gave Luna to a family member when she was a year old, but I recently got her back. She is spayed and has up to date vaccinations. She is very protective of family, shy and cautious around new people. She loves to play with cats and other dogs when she's used to them around. I have taken her to doggy daycare and dog parks before. She has received basic training, but is still working on a few things. I'm looking to rehome her due to financial problems.
