Meet Echo ntroducing Echo! Nyx is a beautiful Shepherd (and possibly Collie?) mix who is approximately 3 months old and currently weighs 7 pounds. We rescued this little gal, along with her brother Nyx from the Weslaco shelter in South Texas near the border of Mexico.These little cuties were found as strays and we are so happy to have them here to help them find their loving,, forever homes. Echo is a typical happy, playful puppy! She is very sweet and enjoys romping around, exploring her surroundings with her brother here at the rescue. She is curious, social and enjoys being held. Echo is having fun learning to play with toys and is very smart and cuddly. We can really see her doing well in a home where she can get lot of attention and playtime with her family. As with any puppy, we know Echo would benefit from basic obedience training to help her learn good manners which will give her a good foundation to be the best puppy she can be. She would be a wonderful companion to grow up in just about any family environment. We have no idea who mom and dad are so we can only estimate that Who will be a medium-sized dog full grown.She is just a fun, happy puppy who can’t wait to find a home of her own! Echo is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and will be available for adoption after May 11th , 2024. Prior to adoption, Echo will be spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations/shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $375. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. Bingo is a very special dog that was adopted in January of 2020 by a beloved volunteer and friend of SNIPSA. As Bingo was passed over for adoption again and again, he found a special friend in SNIPSA’s dog walker, Kalvin. Day after day, week after week, Kalvin and Bingo went on afternoon walks. This special bond blossomed into best buds for life when Kalvin officially adopted Bingo. Devastatingly, Kalvin passed away in early November. While our hearts are broken for a friend lost too soon, we are committed to making sure Bingo finds a new family who can offer him just as much love (and as many walks) as dear Kalvin. A happy and energetic pup with a huge love of fetching toys, Bingo is also an epic cuddle bug! While his bond for his “human” is strong, he will do better as an only pet. This lover boy is eager to please and would make a doting, loyal companion. We are so invested in finding Bingo the right home that we enrolled him in doggy boot camp at Lone Star State K9. He has spent the past few weeks brushing up on his manners so he can be the best boy for his new owners. Bingo means the world to us and we hope he can find a fresh start in 2024. Meet Sergeant, Lieutenant, Chief and Detective, four large canines that were recently rescued after they were left behind at a boarding facility. These sweet dogs were housed and cared for until it was time to make the journey over to SNIPSA. But despite their rough start, it’s clear that none of them have lost their spirit! This pup patrol arrived at our facility with wagging tails, good temperaments and ALL the love in the world to give. Though they may present themselves with some tough exteriors, they truly are the biggest of babies. Due to their size and overall temperament, these four would each benefit from active lifestyles to ensure they are receiving adequate exercise.
