I have had Dixie since she was approx. 8 weeks old. She is incredibly smart and loving. Last May, my husband and I got custody of his son, and Dixie has not adapted well. She is constantly stressed and she does not deserve that. We are wanting to find her a safe space and a loving home. She has become extra timid and has presented some aggression. Cricket is a kisser, she loves to play, loves the water, loves kids! We had her professionally trained by DFW Off Leash and walk her every morning without a leash! She does require quite a bit of exercise and stimulation, being an Ausi she's extremely smart and needs to be challenged. When walking we'll practice self control such as sitting for extended periods of time with distractions, "place" where she lays at my feet and "come" where no matter her distance she sprints back. She loves working and learning new things! She has two older sisters, although she is bigger than her she is the boss and wrestles and plays with them at any chance! She needs a home where she can get plenty of activity and love.

Sweet Canon had been dumped and left to roam for about 3 mos, according to the people who found him. He was trapped and brought to us which we unfolded a perfect dog! (Picture was after we shaved him to get the burs out) He loves his humans and walks great on a leash. He is a 1.5 yo Aussie mix who is visually impaired. Canon is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. Does great for a bath. He will require a secure fenced yard for his safety. He seems to be house trained and will do good with other dogs who are not too dominant, since he gets a little nervous around pushy dogs. Adoptable within 3 hours of Granbury, Tx. Who knows, a hidden celebrity!!! He knows come, and quickly learned some agility stations. He went over a jump and a round jump with ease, and even went through a tunnel with no fear. He’s an agile boy, eager to please. He’s about 18 months old, still in the puppy stage, fully vetted, neutered and heart worm negative. He is a smaller dog, 32 lbs of devotion and new zest for life. His time at the shelter really had him scared but he’s back to his good ole self as you can see. He loves his 2 resident siblings, smaller male and female.
