He is a sweet dog to people, can be testy with other dogs. He loves to run around and keeps getting out of our back yard. Great with kids too. We have two little children and have no issues with him. Just do not have the time anymore for him to have the life I think he deserves

Story
Pecos is 2 years old. He is calm, cuddly, and friendly. He was previously a foster and gets along well with other animals. He loves to play and cuddle. He does get a bit of separation anxiety so someone who is home often or has a large and comfortable space for him to play in while away is perfect. Perfect for families or families with other dogs. Very much “man’s best friend” kind of dog. Loyal and very well trained.

Story
Initially, Milo, was brought in to accompany my mother while they are home but back issues have limited her to moving too much. Milo has ALOT if energy and will be a decent sized backyard so that he can freely run around as his breed was meant to do Milo is now 1 year and 1 month old, with black/brown with white color. His eyes are Heterochromia (two different eye colors) New home should have someone who can give him constant attention he deserves, because he is a great dog and he will love you for it. He listens to a few commands but would recommend formal training.

Story
We got Oddie through a coworker, on July 9, 2021 right after he turned 6 weeks. He is a sweet loving pet and very protective of his family. He loves the backyard. He is afraid of the mower and will go after your shoes/heels when he wants to play. I would like for Oddie to go to a loving home where he has plenty of yard to run and play.

Story
Meet Millicent!Millicent is a sweet, smart, and beautiful 1 year old girl. She is a cuddly Aussie who enjoys belly rubs and nuzzling up to her humans. She is house trained, uses a doggy door, walks on a leash, loves to be brushed and follows basic commands. Millicent is potty and crate trained.Millicent was found in Arlington this past summer left to fend for herself - because of this and other unknown factors, Millicent will take a while to warm up to her new environment. She is especially weary of men/boys and the entire family will have to proceed with patience and caution, but once she is comfortable, she is the MOST wonderful, loving dog. Because of the loyalty and love she has for her people, Millicent is very protective and acts out when guests come over. She will bark, growl and lunge in protection. Millicent will need a very patient family who will help her gain confidence and use the leash and crate as needed for protection for any house guest.Millicent enjoys other calm, adult dogs, but she does not like energetic dogs who jump. Millicent bonds very tightly to the people she loves. She and my daughter have become extremely close. She lays on her bed for full cuddle sessions and is a shadow to me, always showering me with kisses. Millicent is drawn to females and would do best in a home with at least one woman. With patience and proper training Millicent will thrive. She is a beautiful, loving dog that has so much love to give!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Maggy May is a pill pocket! LOL she is full of love and fun. She is very dog friendly but has that dominants personality. She is that wild child that you can't help but fall in love with and laugh so hard you have to hold your side! She is housebroken but needs a strong crate while getting use to a new environment. She is good on leash and easy to handle :) Mags would do great in an active household where she can go on adventures and snuggle on the couch!
