Story
Meet Xena — Australian Shepherd Mix, born March 27, 2026 (~5 months old) Xena is a sweet Australian Shepherd mix in search of her new forever home. She was raised from a puppy in a loving family environment and is used to being part of the pack. Xena is very smart and picks up on training quickly. She’s already house and crate trained, and she knows how to sit and give paw. She loves her treats and toys, and she’s a big chewer, so she always does best with a sturdy chew toy or bone on hand to keep her busy. She craves attention and is super active, so she needs plenty of exercise and physical activity to keep her happy and worn out. She loves other dogs and gets along great with kids, making her a wonderful fit for an active household. She still has a bit more to learn, but with the right owner and some patience, she is going to thrive and make a fantastic companion.

Story
Chip is an 11-week-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy who is looking for a foster OR foster-to-adopt home while he finishes his vetting. He is currently in a foster home with his other two siblings, but they are ready to go their own ways and learn independence in a home of their own. Chip and his siblings were found abandoned in a field, and rescued by a kind samaritan. Chip is already making great progress on potty training for his age. Because these puppies were not treated kindly during the start of their life, they are a bit nervous in new spaces and still learning to trust people. Chip is the most submissive and shy one of his siblings, but his personality really shines once he’s comfortable. His current best friend is the child in his foster home. His current foster says he would love his own kid and describes Chip as "a sensitive soul". Chip would benefit from another dog in the home to play with and learn from, and, of course, he will also need someone dedicated to puppy training and puppy socialization. Chip has received his first round of vaccines and has been dewormed and microchipped. He will need his next round of vaccines in Keller, and final round of vaccines at our veterinarian in Arlington. 📍You MUST be local to DFW for vetting. ❌ No apartments, since they are potty training and still finishing out their vaccines. 🏡 These puppies are very young, and are not suitable to be left home alone 8+ hours at a time each day. PLEASE make sure to read the foster responsibilities prior to applying. If interested in foster only, fosters must be committed to fostering until the dog is adopted. Must be able to transport to our vet(s) for vaccines. Head to our website to learn more about our foster program and fill out a foster application (if interested in foster-to-adopt, please select that on your foster application): https://www.acesplacerescue.org/foster

Story
Heather is a 2.5 month old, 10 lb Australian Shepherd mix. This beautiful young pup was found as a stray in East Texas, along with her sister Ivy. Heather is sweet, laid back, and curious. She is a little on the shy side but more outgoing than sister Ivy. Being out on their own as young puppies was very scary, but Heather is improving every day, now that she feels safe in her foster home. Heather loves playing with her sister and the dogs in her foster home, and she is learning to trust people. She is smart and treat motivated, which will help with her training. She loves to chew on super chewer bones and nylabones. She will entertain herself for long stretches of time, just chewing away. Please submit your application to adopt Heather, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Hi, I’m DenverI’m a handsome, gentle senior boy with a big heart and the sweetest soul. I was adopted from Apollo as a puppy, and while my family loved me very much, life changes brought me back to the rescue when they had to move into an apartment. Now I’m hoping to find my forever home—one where I can settle in for good.I’m a perfect gentleman indoors. I’m fully house-trained, I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t, and my favorite place to be is right next to you. I love laying close, soaking up affection, and being your quiet, loyal companion.I do best with a structured routine and would love a person who enjoys working with me and helping me continue to learn. I’m very smart and treat-motivated, which makes training fun for both of us! I already know some great commands like sit, shake, down, stay, and wait, and I’m always happy to show off my skills.I’m looking for a calm, loving home that appreciates a sweet senior who loves cuddles, companionship, and peaceful moments together. If you’re searching for a loyal best friend who will happily rest his head on your lap and fill your home with love, I just might be your guy.Come meet me at Apollo Support & Rescue in Justin—I’d love to meet you.If you are interested in adopting, please copy and paste this link into your browser...https://www.apollosupportandrescue.org/adoptthisdog.html.

Story
Hi my name is Willow! I have a very big personality. I need someone that is willing to take their sweet time to get to know me because new people are very VERY scary. Once I get to know you, I am very affectionate! I do have some separation anxiety so I will need to be crated when you leave the house. I would prefer to be the only dog. I am a very good jumper and climber so I need a very tall fence. I know I may come with terms and conditions, but I hope there`s someone out there that knows I am still worthy of a home, I will be the most rewarding baby ever!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, insurance for 30 days, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry

Story
My name is Fiona and I am a sweet bundle of energy! I am a very loyal companion who wants all your attention and absolutely love children! Although I sometimes have to be reminded not to jump I’m getting better at that. I am not a fan of cats when they run. It makes me want to chase them. I am more fond of women sometimes men can scare me at first, but once I get to know them and with a few treats I’ll be your best friend. I enjoy being around dogs. Except I don’t care for dogs with high energy like me. It makes me nervous. I really love to go on runs and I love my toys...I love chew toys. I do better in my crate after I’ve had plenty of exercise and if you have dogs at home meeting them first would make me feel better. I absolutely love water. My foster mom bought me my own kiddy pool and it’s my favorite thing to do besides following around my foster mama. I’ve been living with two children, age two and seven and I love my foster kids. When I finally am awake I am a big cuddle bug. I like to give hugs and kisses if you let me, I am a big baby with a huge heart of gold! I love to talk/bark when I get excited my tail wags like crazy and I will do spins in circles to show you how cute and smart I am. I catch on pretty quickly to routines and overall just want to be around my people. I know my perfect home is out there and would love to meet you to see if you are the one. I'm almost 2 yrs old, and weigh approximately 40 pounds. Puppy kisses Fiona ♥️ 🐾 If interested in adopting Fiona, please fill out our adoption application: info@salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Meet Luna (aka Lu!) Luna is an approximately 3-year-old, roughly 47-pound bundle of personality, happiness, and love who's ready to find her forever family! If you're looking for a smart, active dog who can keep up with your adventures but also happily curl up beside you at the end of the day, Luna might be your perfect match. Why You'll Love Luna: Luna is the total package. She is playful, active, incredibly intelligent, and guaranteed to make you laugh with her goofy personality. She loves being around her people and never misses an opportunity to sneak in a kiss or ask for extra pets. While Luna loves to stay busy and be active, she also has a more chill, cuddly side. Her foster mom occasionally works from home and says Luna is the perfect office buddy, happily relaxing nearby while she works. She's fully house trained and crate trained, and she sees her crate is her safe place. Just tell her "bed," and she'll happily run right in! Her foster family states she may whine for a minute or two when you leave, but she settles quickly and is happy to relax until you're home. Luna is also dog friendly and absolutely loves playing with the other dog in her foster home (she has only lived with medium/large dogs that we know of). Because she enjoys canine companionship so much, she'd love a playful dog sibling in her forever home. Luna already knows her basic commands and is eager to learn more. She catches on quickly and truly enjoys training. Puzzle toys, games, new tricks, and anything that challenges her mind are right up her alley. Her Perfect Home: Luna is an athletic, high-energy girl who needs a family committed to giving her plenty of exercise and mental enrichment. She'll do best in a home with: -A fenced yard to run and play (no apartments, please) -An active owner who enjoys walks, hikes, etc. -A playful canine companion (preferred, but not required) -Older kids or dog savvy kids preferred, as she does occasionally jump when excited to see you -Someone excited to continue her training and help her reach her full potential Luna is loyal, loving, and full of life. She's looking for a family that will embrace her playful spirit, continue helping her learn, and give her all the love she deserves. If you're ready for an adventurous and loyal best friend who will keep you smiling every day, Luna is waiting to meet you! Apply to adopt at acesplacerescue.org/adoptionprocess
