Barrett is a 7 year old male herding dog with a mix of breeds including Australian shepherd, and boxer. He has been with us since he was 6 months old as has been a great dog for our family. He absolutely loves attention and wants to be a 10 pound lap dog. He has never shown a mean bone in his body and has lived with two small children from their birth up to 7 years of age. He has lived with another 15 pound dog and cat from kitten age on and has never had an issue with any of them. He will allow small children to lay on him and even tug his ear or tail and has never nipped or snarled even the slightest. I have recently sustained a personal injury that does not allow me to provide the exercise and energy release that he needs to be happy and I don’t want him to live a life where he doesn’t get to run and play with people. He will dig if left outside for hours on end with no prior exercise or play time with his humans as boredom can set in for this dog.

Moon Pie is fostered with her sister Coda and they love playing together and with the other pups in their foster home. You really can not go wrong with any of the pups in this litter… they will be great family dogs! She had a funny kick sometimes when she walked so the shelter needed rescue help so Lenore could have a better assessment of her medical issues. Lenore’s foster mom took her in for an exam/ X-rays and we received the best possible news. Lenore had 3 old pelvic fractures that actually healed very well. The vet said her little weird kick was most likely related to nerve damage from those fractures. Lenore is doing great in her foster home and she loves following her foster mom wherever she goes! Lenore is dog friendly and a sweet snuggler with humans! This girl is such a special pup we are excited for her that she has been given a second chance! Blue is a GORGEOUS Aussie Doodle, who is fully vetted and heartworm negative. He has to have another big dog to play with, as he LOVES other dogs and he still has a lot of puppy in him. Blue loves to go on walks and he is great on a leash. He just definitely needs another big dog or dogs in the home, and a yard. He is completely house trained, no issues at all there however we do have a doggie door so he goes in and out as he pleases. Blue loves toys!! He will entertain himself, by tossing them around. He does great with kids as he is very gentle with them and will let them play all over him. Blue loves all the attention! He would do best with a family who is home a lot as well as other dogs. Liberty is a 2yr old, female Heeler mix. She is a small, petite girl. (only 26lbs) She has had a rough start to life so she is still a bit skiddish. She requires a family that will give her a little time to warm up. Learning indoor life was an adjustment for her but she finally has mastered it! She loves to romp & wrestle with her foster siblings. Toys & a comfy bed are now a must for her. She loves getting petted but is still skiddish when approached. Liberty came to us as a stray found in the country. She had a deep wound which nearly severed leg. After a few months of vet care & daily cleaning/bandages, she is now healed thankfully. She is loving life in foster care & learning how to just be a dog.
