Story
Loki is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and take naps. He loves a good walk but can be quite lazy for an Aussie. He loves to play with people and other dogs. He is partially blind in his left eye and requires a little of patience when exploring new areas and people, but once he has a minute to smell his surroundings he is great.

Story
🦄🐾 Meet Cody Boone — yes, the unicorn is real Standard Australian Shepherd • ~40 lbs • Neutered Some dogs need time to warm up. Cody Boone? He shows up already convinced you’re his person. Cody is affectionate, gentle, calm, and confident — the rare combo everyone hopes for and almost never finds. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, walks well on leash, and does great with other dogs. He loves food (enthusiastically), learns quickly, and actually listens when corrected. Counter surfing? He’s tested it. “Off”? He gets it. He’s playful when it’s time, chill when it’s not, and always down to cuddle. No chaos. No drama. Just a genuinely good dog who wants to be near his people. Cody Boone is the kind of dog people don’t believe exists until they meet him — and yes, he’s absolutely ready for his forever home. 🏡 Apply to adopt this unicorn: 👉 ntxaussierescue.org/adopt

Story
Mr. Beans is 10 pounds of pure puppy joy and enthusiasm. Think little bouncing BEAN! He walks well on leash, is crate trained, and is almost fully house trained. He knows his name, comes when called, and is eager to learn — especially if food, toys, or treats are involved (and honestly… all of the above). Beans loves being out and about with his people. He’s happiest playing in the yard, romping with his foster siblings, and proudly bringing leaves and sticks inside like prized possessions. When playtime is over, he’s a total snuggle bug — though fair warning, if he’s in full play mode, he may also jump on your head while wrestling with the other dogs. He’s a true social butterfly who will happily sit with just about anyone and hasn’t met a dog he didn’t want to be friends with. Beans has met both babies and preschool-aged kids and did great, as gentle as a puppy can be. He’s goofy, playful, quirky, affectionate, and confident — a wonderfully balanced little guy. Beans does have a tiny squeak of a bark that comes out when he’s nervous, but overall he’s a confident, enthusiastic pup who takes new things in stride. He loves his foster siblings, loves people, and loves basically everything life has to offer. If you’re looking for a happy, social, snuggly puppy who brings laughter, chaos, and love wherever he goes, Beans is ready to be your best friend. 🐾💛

Story
Meet Rex — the tri-tri (tricolored tripod) Mini Aussie who stole everyone’s hearts and doesn’t even realize he’s missing a leg. 🐾 Rex came into rescue after being hit by a car. His family went to incredible lengths trying to get him help — relying on public transportation in Dallas to make their way to the Dallas Animal Shelter, hoping someone could help their injured puppy. Instead, they were handed nothing but a QR code and sent on their way. Thankfully, someone was listening. Dallas Cat Lady overheard their story and couldn’t just walk away. She stepped in to help Rex get the care he desperately needed. In the end, his family made the heartbreaking but selfless decision to surrender him, knowing it was the best chance for Rex to have the life he deserved. And let us tell you — Rex is basically perfect. Despite everything he’s been through, Rex is an absolute dream dog. He potties outside with zero accidents, doesn’t get into things, and can be trusted free-roaming all day and night. Most of his time is spent happily playing with his toys or snoozing in his favorite recliner. For an 8-month-old puppy, he’s incredibly chill — comfortable both on his own and soaking up love from his people. He adores kids (especially the 6-year-old who has officially claimed him as her favorite… though honestly, it’s hard not to feel the same way). Being a tripod doesn’t slow Rex down one bit. He loves: 🐾 Walks 🚗 Car rides for pup cups 🛋️ Cuddling on the couch or his favorite chair 🧸 Playing with toys Rex is affectionate, resilient, and full of joy — and ready for a forever home filled with love, adventures, and plenty of cuddles. 💛 Photo credit: https://www.facebook.com/ElizabethDavisPhotography2020

Story
If you’ve been searching for the ultimate cuddle buddy, your search ends here. Rex is a 10-month-old bundle of love, energy, and pure joy wrapped up in one lightning-fast, hug-giving pup. Let’s start with his favorite hobby: YOU. Rex is a certified Stage 5 Clinger (and proud of it). He doesn’t just sit next to you, he leans, snuggles, and even gives actual hugs. At bedtime? Expect a warm, wiggly shadow curled up right beside you. Personal space is overrated anyway. But don’t let the cuddles fool you... this boy has moves. Rex is agile, speedy, and full of spunk. He zips around the yard like a tiny athlete in training and would absolutely thrive in a home with a yard where he can stretch those speedy legs. Playtime, fetch, and zoomies are very much his jam. And food? Oh yes. Rex LOVES food. Treats, dinner, snacks, the occasional acorn on a walk. he’s highly food-motivated, which will make continued training a breeze. Speaking of training, Rex is still finishing up his puppy phase. He occasionally chews items left on the floor (so maybe your Nikes need to be out of his reach for a while), and if he drinks a little too much water, he may use a potty pad (he is very good/consistent with potty pads). With consistency, structure, and patience, he’ll continue maturing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Rex would make an incredible family dog. He’s affectionate, lively, and deeply bonded to his people. He just needs a family willing to guide him through these last puppy months with love and direction, and in return, he’ll give you unwavering loyalty, daily laughter, and endless hugs. If you’re ready for a fast-running, food-loving, cuddle-obsessed best friend, Rex is ready for you.
