When she’s hungry, she will follow you around meowing at you until you feed her wet food. Her favorite place to be is playing inside of a cardboard box. She loves a box full of toys so she can jump inside and dump all of the toys out. KONA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU-TABBY MIX. She is 2 years and 5 months old and is good with cats and small children. In her foster home, she is around other kittens and older cats. She has never been around dogs. The independent rescuer was asked to help get the local strays fixed and save these 2 teenagers. We were more than happy to help! These poor little guys were so malnourished, sick and scared. So once there was space at our rescue, we picked them up! Meet CASSIE, a young feline full of life and love. Her personality is a delightful mix of sweet and independent, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a pet with a balanced temperament. CASSIE's curiosity is boundless, often leading her to explore every nook and cranny of her surroundings. She's got a goofy side too, making everyone around her chuckle with her funny antics. CASSIE is also smart, playful, and brave, yet she has a gentle, mellow nature. She can be a bit shy initially. She is a great cat companion. Not very sure of humans. The shelter decided to make her a barn cat and ear-tipped her. Well the kennel manager knew the she was too young and not feral. So he called us and we went running to get her. Now TEMPEST is ready for her FUREVER home. She is not a lap cat. But we can see in her eyes she wants to be. She loves to play with any cat that will play with her. She is curious and so sweet...the cat she intended to be. She is also great with all cats. Loves to wrestle and play with them. Well fast forward to 1 year ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. NEZUMI is the seventh one to be ready for adoption. NEZUMI can be shy at first. He gets comfortable very quick and is curious about everything. He can get startled, but will come back and investigate. He will then throw himself on the floor and demand attention. He is a very good assistant and loves to help you do your chores. He especially loves the mop. Oh and quite fond of his (we think) sister KOALA. NEZUMI is such a sweet love bug. They dumpster dive and there is no feeder. And because casinos are 24/7 and have lots of trash cans everywhere they dive in the trash compacting areas so many kittens get hurt or get caught inside. So a group of independent trappers had been fixing all the feral cats and saving the kittens. ACE is one of the many that are being saved. And we were very honored to be asked to help. ACE has only known the street life for a short time. He is now living a nice pampered life. Meet ACE, the feline embodiment of an enigma. Independent yet shy, he's a master of his own space, but always ready to play a game or two. He's goofy and funny, his antics a source of endless amusement. Hi my name is Paw Ride, I've been with my foster mom since Aug. 2023. She used another site to help me find a new home, but everyone was out of California and could not figure out transportation for me. SAGE is a beautiful and special female Egyptian Mau / Domestic Shorthair cat, 1 year in age. Sage is playful and curious. She loves exploring and appreciates her independence. We currently have her as our office cat. She is used to being around other cats and dogs, but we feel she will be happiest as the only cat in her future home. Sage has a funny personality, she loves rubbing her little body on everything. She adores receiving attention and affection. Sage is a happy and chill cat looking for a forever home where she can love and be loved. This kitten was found in the garden of the senior apartments where I live, along with a companion kitten, but probably not a sibling. They were covered in fleas; one of the residents gave them flea baths, and sheltered them overnight. She wants to be involved in everything & she will learn your routine. Her dominant personality traits are her intelligence, her athletic ability (her ‘acrobatics’ is more accurate), and how much she likes to show off. She wants to be close to you and wants, and needs to be, a companion. She loves to play and would like a playmate. She is so intelligent she learned to play fetch in a day and a half, she learned to jump up on my shoulder (soft landing no claws). I am hoping for a perfect home for her.
