Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. RACHEL VALDEZ and 12 other relatives of hers were all dumped at a church in Whittier, California. These poor babies were left in the sun in a total of two carriers in front of a church. Needless to say, the rescue mama set course that day to pick them up. It took us 2 days to get them all to the rescue and to foster care. So RACHEL VALDEZ (named after the show: WYNONNA EARP) we believe was kept very well by whomever abandoned her. With all the tragedy that has happened to this young girl and her family, she deserves to have a wonderful home. She is now living a nice pampered life. RACHEL VALDEZ is a HUGE LUV BUG. When you pick her up, she will stay still and allow pets. You can see in her sweet little face, she is has the look of wanting love. But she also looks like she will be quite sassy. She loves to play by herself or any kitten. She does this cute little butt drop dance hen someone approaches her. She really loves to play with toys. She loves her can food and she will tell you all about it. She needs a real family that will love her like their own family member. **** RACHEL VALDEZ does have scratches on her cornea. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! KONA and her siblings (PELE - PRISCILLA - RINGO - FELIX - LULU) were saved from the shelter. They were so scared and underaged. They were in danger so we had to find a foster quickly! KONA has been ready for her FUREVER home for a long time! KONA is a playful girl who loves to talk. When she’s hungry, she will follow you around meowing at you until you feed her wet food. Her favorite place to be is playing inside of a cardboard box. She loves a box full of toys so she can jump inside and dump all of the toys out. KONA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU-TABBY MIX. She is 3 years and 5 months old and is good with cats and small children. In her foster home, she is around other kittens and older cats. She has never been around dogs. She will do best with a strong cat that can handle her playing and strong will. Or she will be good by herself. Well fast forward to 1 year ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. NEZUMI is the seventh one to be ready for adoption. NEZUMI can be shy at first. He gets comfortable very quick and is curious about everything. He can get startled, but will come back and investigate. He will then throw himself on the floor and demand attention. He is a very good assistant and loves to help you do your chores. He especially loves the mop. Oh and quite fond of his (we think) sister KOALA. NEZUMI is such a sweet love bug. All he wants is pets and love. Loves to play. He really loves to play with anything and makes you laugh with his silliness. NEZUMI comes running when it's time to get his can food. He will actually let you know to hurry up! He has the cutest face and his beautiful coat is very unique. His purr box is very loud. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home. Izzy, a female tabby, joined us as a rescue when she was a kitten. She is in good health and gets along well with kids, adults, and other cats. She doesn’t bother dogs but doesn’t care for ones that get into her space. She is a more independent cat, especially compared to our other cat, Sage, but she loves to be pet & scratched. With our dogs, it hasn’t made a harmonious environment for Izzy or Sage and so to care for both of them, we made the difficult, but necessary, decision to rehome Izzy (and Sage) to provide a space that is best for them and to give them attention and time they deserve.

Sage, a male tabby, joined us as a rescue when he was a kitten. He is in good health and gets along well with kids, adults, and other cats. He doesn’t bother dogs but doesn’t care for ones that get into his space. He is affection and enjoys human interaction and attention - a cuddler and social.
