Story
Meet Sharpie, a sweet senior gentleman with an easygoing personality and wonderful manners. This well-mannered boy enjoys taking life at his own pace and would love a home where he can relax, explore, and enjoy the simple things.

Sharpie is easy to leash up and enjoys leisurely walks where he can take in all the sights and smells around him. Once hes gotten his sniffs out and finished exploring his environment, he happily comes over for pets and affection. He has a calm, gentle presence that makes spending time with him so enjoyable.

He likes toys too, though hes not overly playful with them - more of a casual toy enthusiast than a wild zoomies kind of guy. Sharpie has also done well around other dogs, showing himself to be a polite and easy companion.

This sweet senior boy is ready to find a loving home where he can enjoy cozy days, gentle adventures, and plenty of affection from his people.

Story
About Hermes:He’s four years old. He’s a Chinese sharpei & pit mix. (We do have his full DNA panel if you’d like it!)He’s got no known medical issues. He’s very sassy. He’s up to date on his shots. He’s good with kids. He’s never had any major behavioral issues, is house broken, no history of destructive behavior or aggression towards humans, female dogs, cats or small mammals like guinea pigs.He could benefit from anxiety medication as he does have a bit of anxious attachment. He loves lazing around or going for walks & hikes. He’s extremely adaptable and just happy to be with his people.I think he would make an amazing pet in a home without other males. Hermes does not get along with our older male but has never had any issues with any other males or female dogs. Right now, we have to keep them apart & divide our attention between the males, leaving both missing out on love & time with us.Please, please consider our boy. He deserves all the love in the world. Thank you for reading!

Story
Hi there, let me tell you a little about myself. I like nothing better than hanging with my people at home or going on walks. I walk nicely on a leash and love exploring and sniffing while out. I'm a chill girl and very well-behaved in the home. I do all my pottying outside, and although I don't need to be crated, and I will even hang out in my crate if you need me to. I sleep in my crate in my foster home and love to lay alongside my people on the couch. I am a gentle girl and take my treats so nicely. I'm an 11-year-old Sharpei/Boxer mix who is very healthy and weighs around 60 lbs. I'm unsure what it means, but my foster mom always tells me how gorgeous I am. I sound just about perfect, don't I? I like other dogs well enough and don't mind passing them when we walk, but I would be better in a home without dogs, cats and small children. I can even play in the yard with some, but I'm not particularly eager to share my space or my things with them, so I'm looking for a forever home where I'm the only dog. I should clarify that I don't mind sharing my things with people; it's just the other dogs I don't want to share with. And cats? Well, my foster Mom says I'm way too interested in cats to be able to share a home with any. I don't have a lot of experience with young children, so my foster mom thinks I should stick to adults and teens because I may not do well with the energy of a younger child. Anyway, that's my story. I'd love to meet and get to know you. See more photos of Cylana by copy and pasting this link into your browser: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAYW7j Apply to adopt me at www. angelsrescue.org/adopt and search for me, Cylana! Story
Priya is a happy, adventurous puppy who’s ready to find her forever home! At 13 weeks old and about 20 pounds, this Shar Pei/Lab mix is full of curiosity, confidence, and playful energy. Priya loves being outside, whether she’s running around the yard or playing tug-of-war with the other dogs in her foster home. She’s an independent and curious pup who enjoys exploring but is always ready to jump into playtime with her people or furry friends. She’s already doing great with potty training and is crate trained, making her an easy addition to a loving household. Priya does wonderfully with kids and gets along well with both big and small dogs. She also loves chewing on bones and toys to keep herself entertained. Because she’s such an active and social pup, Priya requires a secure fenced yard and another active dog companion in the home. Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care. Rabies vaccines are given if the dog is 16 weeks of age or older. June 7, 2026, 2:10 am

Story
A SWEET, PLAYFUL SENIOR FELLOW: Approx. 9 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. Hi there, I’m Roy! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control - I don’t remember how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be safe and well cared for now. When I arrived, it was clear that I had been neglected for years as I had thin fur and some skin issues, I needed a dental cleaning and had infected ears and sore eyes. I needed bloodwork, which I received thanks to a generous grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization. I’m feeling and looking much better and ready for my next chapter! I even got to spend some time in the prison/foster training program and had a good time! I’m a sweet, hopeful guy who’s excited about the future and dreaming of a loving home and family that will take wonderful care of me. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and like to interact a little with the more mellow dogs and I’ve been enjoying going for walks alongside my doggie friends at the shelter, so if you have a nice more mellow dog at home, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no very young kids that I may bump over or that may pull on my ears as they are sensitive or hug me which I may see as restraint. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as a friendly, super playful, and smart guy who’s sweet as can be and truly a very good boy. I’ve been a calm, loving senior with great manners who listens well (and does best with gentle and kind words) and enjoys being close to the nice volunteers. I get spurts of energy that are so fun. I’m especially good for my medicated showers - I stay calm and sweet, even lifting my paws for massages and rinsing. A walk-in shower with a sprayer is just my style as I don’t want to get in a tub, and I enjoy the gentle massage that comes with it. / Energy Level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so, I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for all their rescue dogs. / My crate manners have been good, though I don’t seem to really need a crate. / I’m doing well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule and did well in the prison/foster training program, and a temp. foster home I visited, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love spending time with the nice volunteers, playing with my toys (and I’ll happily drop them for a treat!), and getting scratches - I can never get enough! I’m a big fan of tough toys since I tend to make quick work of the soft ones, but that’s okay because the hard toys are my absolute favorites anyway! I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things we will enjoy doing together in my new home. / I am skittish when anyone uses harsh words or corrections with me, so I want a kind and gentle family that’s more about positive reinforcement. I’m not a fan of those pesky eye drops. I also don’t like to be restrained during my vetting, so I wear a muzzle to help things go smoothly, and my trainer is helping me build confidence and comfort with it. Otherwise, like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I’m current on my annual vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. I also had a thorough dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh and healthy again! I experience dry eyes from time to time, but I’m not a fan of receiving eyedrops. I arrived with chronic-untreated ear infections. I’ve had several rounds of cleaning and medications, but this will likely be an ongoing condition due to the past neglect. I’ll need my family to stay proactive about my ear care, which will include some sedated treatments - just ask for more details. I’m currently receiving weekly medicated baths and taking fish oil supplements as my skin and coat continue to improve, and those baths can easily be continued at home in a shower setting. I also take an allergy/itch medication called Zenrelia to help keep my skin comfortable. I’m a wonderful fellow looking to soak up the good life with a kind and gentle family and to be well taken care of and loved. My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga. June 10, 2026, 7:56 am

Story
Chloe is a loving 7 year old boxer/lab mix looking for an adult only home. She is house and leash trained and healthy. While she enjoys running outside, she is low energy inside the house. She is friendly towards adults and comfortable with get togethers, but takes sometime to warm up to dogs. Once she is familiar with a dog they will be best friends. We are looking to rehome due to our new baby boy. While we dreamed of Chloe growing up with him, we realized we can’t give Chloe the attention she deserves. The lack of a backyard coupled with minimum time to take her on walks is unfair to her. We hope we can find her a loving home with someone that can dedicate more time to her.
