Chico is a 7 year old American Bulldog mix. He is such a sweet soul and gentle spirit. He settled into his foster home quickly and gets along with the resident dog perfectly. Chico is so cool, calm, and collected even when the resident dog is guarding his favorite toys. He wants nothing more than to cuddle up next to you on the couch and rest his head on your chest before taking a long nap. Don’t get up in the middle of the night! You may find Chico keeping your spot warm when you get back! He loves food, and will sit and shake for a tasty treat. He is easy to leash up, and walking him is a breeze as he hardly pulls at all. Chico still has lots of pep left for an older guy so one long walk a day would suffice for him as he is more than happy to lounge next to you the rest of the day after a good meal. She’s sweet, curious, snuggly, and eagerly engages with her people, always ready for affection and companionship. Cheyenne does well with other animals and even ignores cats, making her an easy addition to many homes. She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she’s sharing snuggles or simply hanging out nearby. However, true to her breed, she can become possessive or protective, so we are calling her "dog-selective". Sadly, Cheyenne was used as a breeder dog and didn’t receive the medical care she deserved. Instead of addressing her medical needs, she was discarded. She has been treated for a skin condition (now cleared up), spayed and she has a cherry eye. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting. ***** Rufio is an old english bulldog, is 3yo, weighs 91lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, and is microchipped. Rufio is alone about 6 hours each day and is kept in his crate. At night, he sleeps in his bed in the bedroom. He needs to be restrained in the car or else he will climb all around. He currently eats Royal Canin Ultamino. Rufio's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "He is very sweet but he was not well trained or socialized. He is too large and strong for me to keep under control and he has been injuring me when he plays or gets too excited. He needs an owner who is better able to handle him and a larger house." Rufio's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "He has significant allergies that he is currently seeing a dermatologist for. He is on an elimination diet and medication."
