Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fill out an Adoption Application Is your shadow letting you down? Is it proving to be just a fair weather friend? Are you looking for a new shadow? Well look no further! Meet Miss Bea, aka Meatball. She will happily take the place of your shadow (even on those rainy, gloomy days). She’ll never let you down! Likes: Miss Bea loves food, her people and belly and rump rubs. Pretty much any attention you give Miss Bea, she eats right up. Dislikes: According to Miss Bea, all vacuum cleaners need to die. Otherwise, Miss Bea complains about nothing. She has yet to meet a stranger (well, maybe the vet is just a teensy bit suspicious). Personality: Miss Bea is all wiggles and kisses. Temperament: Happy, happy, happy! Miss Bea is fine with brushing, though she can be wiggly happy during her spa sessions. She is also fine with having her nails done. Energy level: Even with her confirmation issues, Miss Bea is one energetic young lady…if only all that energy could be harnessed, dogs like Miss Bea could very well be the answer to the energy crisis! Favorite activities: Being with her people; eating; sleeping; snoring; chewing safe bones; stuffed and squeaky toys will be met with a swift death. Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Miss Bea has a high prey drive and, therefore, would not do well with cats or other small, non-canine critters. She has not yet been tested around young children, however, due to her enthusiasm and mouthiness, she would probably do best with teenagers.  Miss Bea does quite well with other dogs both male and female, big and small. However, she can initially come on a bit strong (think freight train). She would do best in a home with another dog that can keep up with her exuberance. Not good with: (Cats? Dogs? Strangers? Men? Kids?) - Cats and other small critters (she thought the chickens would make for fun, chaseable, squeaky toys). Housetrained: Yes Crate trained: Yes. Bribe her with a piece of cheese and she will go right in and settle down quickly. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? Yes Walks well on a leash? Miss Bea pulls a little but listens well and is very eager to please. Challenges: Dyson vacuums have nothing on Miss Bea! She will need a slow feeder bowl (the slower the better). Miss Bea is working on her mouthiness; taking treats gently; sharing toys; leash manners and jumping up. Any Medical issues? Miss Bea will be having an ortho consult to address her confirmation issues (which don’t slow her down or seem to affect her running and playing). She is currently receiving a daily Cosequin pill to help her joints stay as healthy as possible.  What would be the best kind of home? One with another doggie friend that matches her energy to play and cuddle with. Though she does well in her crate, someone who works from home would be an added bonus as Miss Bea adores her people. These include, but are not limited to: pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Betty is a Great dog, loving dog but i don’t have the time anymore for her and it’s hard for me to do this. I’ve had her since she was a puppy. But with my busy schedule is hard for me to keep up with her in a way i would like. Like all bulldogs she does have allergies and requires maintenance. She is up to date with shots.

Story
Dog:Tootsie Age:9-12 Months Weight: 45 Location: Newtown, PA Nicknames: Toots, T, Tutti-frutti, Tootsie Roll, Grandma Ethel Good with other dogs?: Yes.Tootsie is dog friendly and loves to play with other dogs. She can play a bit rough, and can be a bit mouthy, which some dogs may not appreciate. Good with cats? yes Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10 Activity Preference: Needs a couple walks a day., Needs in-house activities IQ: Smart Tootsie's favorite things: Tootsie is a sweet and funny dog. She enjoys taking walks and the ability to run off leash and at times get the zoomies. She is quite inquisitive and loves to smell and discover new places. She enjoys car rides and getting out of the house. She loves balls of all sizes and will often play with a full-size soccer-ball. Tootsie is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, walking on a leash, playing Ideal home: another dog, no children, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard, Lots of exercise opportunities Training Needs: socialization with dogs, needs obedience training Health issues: Tootsie is thought to have albinism and is deaf due to this trait. Due to her hearing impairment, her foster family has been teaching her sign language for basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc.) She also wears a vibrating collar which she has been trained to follow for recall when she cannot see her family. She is quite independent and just beginning to learn rules. Training will require consistent reinforcement and her forever home must be ready to work with her on a regular basis to keep these skills. In addition, she must go to a home with a fence to ensure she cannot wander away, as she cannot hear cars or other dangers. Meet Tootsie Tootsie is a fun loving, goofy, sweet and independent girl who would be great addition to home that will continue to work with her training to help with her special needs. There are some great benefits to having a deaf dog- vacuuming is not scary, play drums or guitar?- no problem for her, live by a fire/ police-department- she doesn't hear it, use lots of loud equipment- she'll never know! However, having a deaf dog comes with its challenges too- they don't come when you call them! Tootsie loves to run free in a yard, discover new things and curl up on a bed or couch. She loves toys and is constantly bringing her collection into her crate. She is house-broken and will let you know when she needs to go out. She looks a bit goofy, but has a big heart and is just waiting to find her new family willing to give this special girl some love. Food being given: RAW food diet only: OG, Steves, other raw food=beef, turkey or fish       PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application.
